Did you read the article? I'm guessing you didn't from your comment. The only unrelated character is Kratos. The others from COD and Gears, despite the stories misleading title, have not been confirmed to be in the game.
I also don't think they will, I don't see any XBOX characters being added simply because there are no popular ones that fit, and i don't see why they wouldn't have announced them already if they did. ...
