As in Famitsu style?

I think that works when you have a big magazine and lots of people able to play the same games. For the smaller outlets that is harder.

I wish more parents and mainstream journalists read articles like this. A lot of them still think games are just toys.

The same site scored Condemned 2 a 9.5/10. Their scores seem totally off.

It's never a 4.2/10... anything below 7 really isn't doing the fun factor justice.

I've complained about the overpowered weapons too but there's still a lot to enjoy. Certainly isn't below average.

Agree with the above two comments. It's totally hypocritical.

Games shouldn't be seen as toys. Attitudes will change but at present people like Matt's family are totally out of touch and have probably never even owned a console.

At this rate even those indifferent to GTA will be giving this a shot.

But long term is it as good as the games mentioned above?

I hope there's some classics like in the original GTA. "Men folk found their women scary, cos they were so big and hairy" remains one of the finest tracks in game history. To be honest the whole soundtrack from the original was amazing. Can't wait to have a good listen to GTAIV, even though it'll probably take a year to hear everything.

Taken from article - "So what’s my point? War in games- lets get clever."

The last paragraph is the key bit and he makes a very good point.

Someone (not you) actually reported this as pro-Nazi, seriously this is totally not what this is. Anyone with the smallest understanding of world history would understand that. So many games paint a black and white picture of war, whereas in reality things are more complicated. It's time gamers were treated to a more in...

I've been playing a lot of the last 24 hours and the tricks seem to be a great addition. They don't unbalance the game at all and means you can take advantage of bumps in the ground such as tree roots, and the various ramps dotted around the level add yet more depth. Initially I was dubious about the bikes too but if anything they're more fun than the karts!

I think sales will show you're wrong. But we don't need to wait till then to know that.

I enjoyed that. Good British humour!

The ending was the best bit.

This is the first I've even heard of Greg Hastings Paintball. :D

12.5 - "All ps3 has is MGSD4"

Nonsense! The PS3 has a lot going for it.

One big thing to look forward to is Home.

Ben1054 - Wii price cut will happen but isn't needed until sales start to really slow. Nintendo are in a strong position and will hold onto that price cut card for a while longer. And as you say when they do make that move they'll still probably be making money from it!

It's rare I get this excited but I can't wait to have a go on this. Changes to power slides are a concern so I hope this hasn't negatively impacted on the time trialing depth.

Does anyone know what the deal is with some moves being impossible to perform on the classic controller?

My primary concern with the current store is the speed. Anything extra is a bonus. Appears to be shaping up well.

For me SupCom is the best PC game since Total Annihilation, which still plays remarkably well all these years later.

I really hope they make SupCom2 a game that most people can play, with similar system requirements to C&C3. If they don't do this it'll never get the commercial success it deserves. Most people use their PC for web and email and only a tiny percentage are going to be comfortable upgrading.

P.S. Best not abbreviate to use SC and SC2, could be confus...

Good to see they're retaining the style of the original games.

I wasn't able to play Uncharted before Xmas but have given it a good play over the last week.

The animation is one of the best parts and is the best I've seen in a game. The ledge jumping also works very naturally, as does the hidden menu. So far I'm inclined to agree with everything in the review.

Can't wait for the sequel.

It wasn't until okcomputer mentioned Deadwood that I realised who the actor was. Didn't recognise him without the moustache!

Watched trailer on PSN, it didn't give me a good impression about the film.

Main problem is he looks nothing like Hitman.
