I think Sony knows what they're doing. They're in it for the long haul, not a few rounds. But I hope your future gets brighter also Glen Schofield, the Godfather 2 game doesn't look like it's going to be as good as Mafia (looking forward to more info on this one). And I know Dead Space (very good game) didn't do as great in sales as it probably should have but i'm sure the next one will do better.

I know what he was saying. And like I said, the 360 can be cheap but can also end up being expensive. Depending on accessories it could end up costing more than a PS3. See what you did there was add up accessories that YOU wanted to add up. I can add it up another way for it to come out more expensive. Hell yeah that was a kickass movie. I hope there's a sequal to that like it stated in the end of the movie.
It's cheaper because it's $200 and can be expensive due to the fact that the accessories and add-ons can make it more expensive. The HDD and wifi are two items that are overpriced. In any event, this is great for MS because they earn more by selling you the accessories but at the same time it's bad for the gamer because they end up spending more then they had thought they'd have to.

given that it's strictly a UK chart then I get what you're trying to say. How much has it sold in the UK since launch? Either way, no matter how small you feel those numbers are, they still helped push the sales of the game to over 2 million.

I was letdown also. It wasn't what I wanted from a RE game. Tried playing the demo a couple times but wasn't really into it. The controls were one factor in me not liking the demo but it wasn't the only factor. I also didn't really like RE4 so there you go. But it'll sell well either way. But i would agree that Feb will be the gaming month of 09. The whole year should be great though.
What country, state or region are you referring to? Before the game released I think it might have hit a million pre-orders in europe alone.
edit: states here that they're almost at a million in mid march last year and I think the game was released mid april.

Really? I guess everyone can have an opinion but the score isn't just in my opinion. Isn't that borderline horrible? And if you do or did play COD4 a whole bunch I can see why you'd have trouble with the controls. Either way, i had a great time this weekend playing this game (and SFIV) into the wee hours of the morning.
I'm in LA too. My co-workers brother works at gamestop so I had her bring it in to work for me on friday morning. The game is great..

I love their AI. I love how they sometimes try to squeeze behind barrels and other cover when you're unloading your gun at them.
but it is beautiful. The story isn't bad like some reviewers were saying. I like it. The opening cinematic is amazing. I love just stopping every once in a while to look around. They did amazing work on these levels.
