Icewake, Halo wars is a simple RTS game? So you admit or are stating that there's nothing special about it? Give Ensemble a little more credit. And don't be so disappointed by sales, that never changes the fact that a game is good or not.
What's your point? Team ICO games didn't sell millions (but they're still critically acclaimed games) but they're still around. So why didn't they go under? Hmm, i guess sales isn't always what matters.
Only 3.5 million? That's not really a whole lot. Halo 3's marketing was around 40+million.

And as for the game not selling as much as we'd expect, well, our expectations don't really matter. If Sony feels their games don't sell as well as they'd like i'm sure they'd advertise more.
You don't need another game for that. Just use forge and custom games and you're off to the races.
I don't know why you guys hang on sales so much. I mean, all those sales for the 360 haven't prevented this years exclusive lineup to look a bit weak compared to its competitor has it? The PS3 doesn't perform as well as the 360 in your eyes but yet the games keep coming from Sony. What gives??

if the game sucks. As of right now i'm just hoping it's a really good game. This game looks really interesting and i'm hoping it delivers the goodness.
Because from what we know they spent the money for two exclusive DLC's. But they were also trying to sway buyers towards the 360 and away from the PS3. Did that happen as much as they hoped it would? WHo knows. What i'm basically trying to say is that we won't know if it was worth it to MS based on the sales of the DLC alone. There's other factors that would have to be looked at.
Here I thought I preferred the DS3 but after reading this I guess I was wrong. My bad!
Anyhow, I have both and like them both but still prefer my DS3. The analog sticks feel smoother to me, and I also prefer the "dome" shape of the top of the sticks. But it's all really preference, no one controller is ever going to be the best for everyone.
Yeah, i agree. I'm holding off on Godfather 2 and waiting for this one. I hope it's good, i mean i hope it sells awesomely well cuz if not this game is going to suck.
