I was really hyped for DA. I've been a big bioware fan since BG 1 and KOTOR. However when i actually played the game i was dissapointed. The thief class and fighter class were too similar and felt not as clearly defined as the mage class. It was fun for a bit but i never even felt the need to complete it. I would buy DA2 if the classes were more clear cut, yes i know there were specializations, but the base classes, other then mage, needed more deffinition and needed to feel more uni...

Crazy how this can have long term effects yet still hasn't been properly studied before it hit the market. In the US anti-biotics and genetically altered food is the norm, yet over seas most of this wasn't allowed to hit the market due to long term health studies. I wish the government consumer safety group had more power to prevent stuff like this from hitting the market before it is fully studied. Unfortunately, money/greed often trumps safety.

I noticed on one of the earlier parts of the game before the ish hits the fan as Alan Wake is sitting in a car the display on the car's electronics says Microsoft Sync. I laughed as it was so cheesey

Its like saying Warhammer ripped off Tolkien because it has dwarves in it. Did Mass Effect rip off early sci-fi because it has space ships and aliens in it? That trailer freaking blew my mind. I was literally stunned. Bioware makes some awsome games. I want this game like yesterday.
I knew this couldn't be. Bioware is currently slated to release another RPG on Oct 20th in Dragon Age : Origins. That would leave scant little time to release another AAA game full of all the marketing goodies. While i would LOVE to have 2 top quality Bioware RPG's in the same year, I would have a tough time thinking up an excuse to take take that much time off from work.
Every Bioware game i've played has been great. From Mass Effect and Jade Empire to Baldur's Gate and KOTOR. All have been AAA titles that lived up well to both reviews and sales. I'll slap my money down any day to the next great Bioware game.
When I read the devs say this about Dragon Age, I was instantly interested. It is about time Bioware got back to their dragonish roots! The game has been in development for 4 years now and is rumored for an April 2009 release. Bring on the Age of Dragons!
