I really hope this is as good or even better than House of Ashes. HOA was "edge of your seat thrill ride."
It took the original game's bone crushing QTE's to another level and combined that with a mini-epic that left millions yearning for more. Just because some of you didn't like the way they killed off a certain character doesn't make this a horrible game. I found the game touching, brutal, and absolutely shocking. I want more!
You can get a gaming laptop with a 3070 for 1200 - 1500 and still get the job done. Hell, you could get a 2070 Ti and play whatever you want for the next 10 years.

You know what he meant. Xbox wasn't even in the picture when Silent Hill was released so everyone who played the original knows why it was originally on and successful on PlayStation consoles.
Exactly. There were plenty of franchises that were exclusive to PlayStation back then and they enjoyed enormous success, like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Persona, and many more.
That's not how Sony grew it's portfolio of studios and games. Microsoft is trying to buy development companies that are responsible for multiplats like Fallout 4, COD, Wolfenstein, and Diablo. These games have been multiplat for almost 30 years. Sony bought small studios that where churning out 1 or 2 games every 3 to 5 years like Naughty Dog. Sony built their portfolio over 20 years, Microsoft just wants to build their portfolio by absorbing the work of others. Take Bungie for exampl...

I preferred playing the Abby segments. Her story really shows how some people tried to work together to rebuild civilization. If they had a better leader they probably could have with all that military training at their disposal. Abby's combat fits the moment and is really, really immersive. She knows she's a badass and she also knows she's not invincible and it comes across in her actions and the story.
I would like to see Abby and Lev. Abby was such a badass to control and I would love to see what direction their lives take. Perhaps Naughty Dog could include Ellie in Jackson as the area gets over run with infected?

Netflix is hemorrhaging subscribers so I don't think you can make that assumption.
So the author understands that subscriptions aren't guaranteed, but selling licenses and collecting fees from selling more games (digitally and physically) is guaranteed when you get more consoles into the hands of gamers? Obviously. Just look at Netflix. They are losing subscribers year after year.

House of Ashes was the best game in the series so far. If you haven't played it, play it!
