Agreed, Evolved is terrible. Doesn't even deserve a 7/10. IGN gives almost any game on their website a 8 or 9/10, and those wankers never mention or comment on the microtransactions in the game. They want to be happy with their access in the gaming industry.
FALLENANGEL1984, what about Demon's Souls? That game redefined the RPG genre.
This guy might have one of the best jobs out there.
Blame the whales, the dolphins, the gaming outlets that don't speak out about it (ie IGN for example) but don't blame all gamers.
There is a way to beat these corporate wankers, you do it with your wallet, hurt their profits. Then they will listen.
I'm so glad to see the success this game has become. Awesome work, Ninja Theory.
Angry Joe gave this game a 10/10. I guess I shouldn't be surprised. I suppose I am missing out with my PS4 Pro.
Hell yeah :)
@Zeke68
Well said.
Bro, the microtransactions are intrusive in that they psychologically test your will. Tell me, why must a gamer be subject to that when playing a game?
Hell no, 10/10 for a game with such atrocious microtransactions. This review is bought.
Is Jim Sterling and Angry Joe bought?
9/10, seriously? With microtransactions so horrendous I can conclude that this review is bought, just like IGN.
Of course it's hazardous, it always has been from the time it was 'introduced' into our $60 games. I don't know if there will ever be a loud enough outcry about this issue, and that's one of the saddest things. Money-grubbing publishers have found a gold mine that can make them a nearly limitless profit.
I wish Mr House all the best.
@JoelsMad
Are you talking about Jack Tretton?
I would replace MGS2 with I Am Alive. That game had me hoping the protagonist would finally get to see his wife and child but instead, you are shown a cut scene of a woman watching a recorded message on a camera where the protagonist promises that he will see/find her. The woman cries then... credits.
What the efing ef...?
It's publishers, the people who defend this garbage practice, the corporate schills and, to a lesser extent, the people/consumer.
The score is undefined.
That's true.
