These articles... SMH.
It's not failing, it's just not doing as well as the competition (which happens to be the fastest selling console of all-time).
No doubt Microsoft is losing sells to the PS4, but it looks like Phil Spencer is trying to steer the Xbox One in a more "gamer-friendly" direction. Removing Kinect pissed me off, since I was an early adopter and Microsoft had me convince it was going to be a mandatory piece of equipment. I was...
putting stats into a video game wouldn't make NHL any better. NHL 14 is just a silly game. It's so fun to play online and I win most of my games, but even I can admit that a lot of the scoring in NHL 14 feels lucky. I'm not opposed to in-depth stats, but all that would do is give you more things to complain about, "I out-shot my opponent 10-1 when it came to quality scoring chances and i lost 5-2."
NHL 14 is a good hockey game, but sometimes it takes lit...
i just claimed 2 codes.
ended already.
I literally just texted my friend the previous information about it being for all ps plus members. He's an Xbox One guy and just went out and got his ps4 yesterday... Needless to say, he's not too excited over the PS4.
I warned him, since he played all the multi-plats on xb1 already, that there aren't any games available until July 29th, at which point he will be 100% satisfied with his ps4 (TLOU release date, he's never had the chance to play it). He's no...
When this article was still in approval state, I was going to reply with a comment explaining why i thought Infamous was number one, but then I looked at the username and knew there was going to be no getting through.
I have both consoles and also have "no dog in the fight." I want both consoles to be the best that they can be.
I'm sad this game got pushed into 2015. Looks amazing.
Good for the guys at Mojang. I'll probably buy it again on ps4, depending on when it releases.
It's such a pointless game and i don't know why i get overly addicted to it, but i'm not complaining.
I, like yi-long, do not plan to buy it at all. Battlefield was one of my favorite online games (behind Gears of War, The Last of Us and Red Dead Redemption) but after Battlefield 4, i dont think I'll ever buy another Battlefield. Especially one this soon.
I know a lot of you claim that "Battlefield 4 is fixed," but, i was just on it today with 4 of my friends and we were all lagging. By the third server (we kept thinking that maybe it was a bad host) most of us...
I've played career twice (80 matches), about 80 matches online ranked and about 15 matches in player matches against my brother online and i've never seen any of these crazy glitches. The game is silly sometimes, but nothing as crazy as what you'll see in this video.
I wish i knew what triggered some of those glitches. I would take them into online play and totally mess around with people. These glitches and commentary were so funny that i was crying.
@venom, the fact that you assume i play cod says a great deal about you. I despise call of duty and haven't bought one since Black Ops. Now, crawl back into whichever hole you came from.
Hardline looks like an expansion pack. The alpha beta is where I draw my "no-thought" impressions from. End of story. I dont disagree with the fact that COD is essentially the same every year.
A yearly release Battlefield is just as bad as a yearly release of CO...
honestly not sure why im being disagreed with. You guys are replying to my comment, but i don't see anything that you've said that shows why you're in direct disagreement, or even why you choose to reply to me.
I don't want Resident Evil to be a future exclusive. Oh well. Internet dislikes aren't going to make me change my opinion of the franchise.
Hopefully not Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft. Exclusives get tiresome.
I dont follow this type of news, so forgive me.. But, If Resident Evil IP goes up for sale, i would be surprised if Sony didn't attempt to buy it. When i think of Resident Evil, i think of the original Playstation. As a kid, I remember being terrified, albeit loving every minute of those games.
Resident Evil is sort of a "dead" franchise after the last 2 installments. It's ...
This is my major gripe with it. This could easily have been an expansion for BF4. I paid $50 for premium (enough for a full price game) and the only thing we manage to get is little updates with new maps. An expansion like this is worth $15-$20... Not the crap that developers are putting out in the world today.
I remember when expansions were actually expansions. Example: The DLC in Fallout 3 was enough to keep you busy for a week, offering new worlds and plenty of new missio...
I was one of the Kinect "nay-sayers" before buying my Xbox One. I was making my judgments purely off of Kinect Xbox 360 (unfair judgment).
I was immediately impressed with Kinect 2.0 and now I am sad that it will, most likely, not be supported in the future.
I played Dead Rising at my friends and it was, by far, NOT (???) the most fun i've had.
Odd way to "measure" how good a video game is. If we go by these standards, idt any game would be classified as anyone's "most fun i've ever had" because there are plenty of real life things that beat even the best video games.
I'm sure it was only a typo, judging by the context immediately following your sentence. Just wanted to point...
Wow. I see how you only have one bubble.
1. I don't see how xbox one is holding back multi-plats. There is no real proof to this. Nearly all multi-plats run at a higher resolution and FPS on PS4. Idk if Watch_Dogs is one of these games with a better resolution on ps4, but it has Frame-rate dips. Point is, maybe the developers feel like it truly was the "best they could do" with the early consoles that are new to them.
If anything, i would say it...
Titanfall. I bought an Xbox One at full price in January for this game (seriously, right before the "bundles" were announced in NA). Luckily, Dead Rising 3 turned out to be good.
I know it might seem like, "typical N4g comment." But, I can say that I'm pretty much 100% satisfied with my PS4 so far.
I was a primary xbox 360 guy last gen... So, you can guess that all my friends IRL were 360 guys too. Well, a few of them didn't make t...
As I posted above... TLOU no longer has a Season Pass. All the DLC that game with the season pass now costs $95 when purchased individually.
So, $50 with all DLC is a hell of a deal. Granted, about 25% of the DLC is cosmetic stuff.
The Last of Us doesn't even have a season pass anymore. To purchase all DLC individually, while buying the Weapons/Perks/Accessories in packs, all the DLC cost $95.
To buy the "meaty" DLC, like Grounded, Left Behind and Map packs, its like $40. The $20 season pass was a hell of a deal (like they should be) and I'm so happy i purchased it Day 1 when i picked up my game.
I was looking forward to TLOU Remastered. Now, i can just look forward to...
Since the article is divided into 5 pages, when it can easily fit on one, im going to post the picks from the article (saves you from having to click).
1. South Park TSOT
2. Hearthstone
3. Towerfall Ascension
4. Dark Souls 2
5. Mario Kart 8
Other than Infamous and South Park, no game has been overly impressive in 2014 (so far).
