Well, IF there was a linux distro that fully utilized the PS3, it'll make just a nice little computer to surf the web, email, IM, and things of such. So it would be a nice option if one didn't have a computer. But of course there isn't a linux distro the works satisfyingly yet, so it is pretty useless for now. Until someone gives a damn enough to spend the time to jailbreak it, we won't be seeing this being used.
As for "amazing functionalities", I don't know where you ...
why compare the 360 to the PS2? i don't have a 360, and I'm not a fan of the 360, but that's pretty insulting to the 360... the ps2 is last gen, i thought we all knew that? why not compare it to the ps3 and see which one is really the future?
another article from another dipshit who thinks he knows how to run Sony better than Sony.
that's the most ridiculous thing ever. how many different ways is there to duck behind something? cover systems will always be similar... but if you really want to see similar, go play Killswitch.
i still don't believe it. if the 360 is capable of this, why haven't we seen this yet? i hear a lot of 'blah blah blah', and that's all it is at the end up of this argument.
THIS IS BUSINESS. In business, there are always companies going head to head. They both need each other to compete against to create the illusion of choice in a 'free market', when in reality both companies are huge megacorps that do much more serious business outside of flippin' video games from behind the veil of appearance. They might appear to hate each other, but they don't. It works the same way with governments (which there is a real blurry line between governments and corporations thi...
Its more than a video game machine. Its a true next-gen video game machine, high-def blu-ray player, and can make a good little linux box for surfing the web, email etc. PS3 has blue-tooth and built in Wi-Fi. Its an all around media center with all the latest tech and a little computer. Can you say that about the 360? NO. The 360 is a video game machine, and that's where it ends. Is the price really that hard to understand? And with the price drop coming, its no contest... not like it ever wa...
The reason they can't explain themselves is because they have no solid understanding and basis of what it is they're talking about... though they do try miserably.
'Journalist' is just a meaningless word in this age of corporate propaganda media with the minds of masses soaking into the lies and deception... so... now they think THEY (these pseudo-journalists) don't have to because the entire big media game is the same way.
10. Too many and confusing SKUs:
If someone can't figure out how to buy a game console, they don't have any business owning one. Irrelevant point.
9. Controller SNAFU:
The DS3 has rumble and motion sensing. The motion sensing might not be up to Wii standards, but its more than the xbox controller has. Irrelevant point.
8. Sony arrogance:
For what the PS3 has, it really is a fair price. Sure its 'more', but you get more than a 36...
While I feel violence in games is ok, it mustn't be the focus. Sure, if one were to rip someone's head off, you would see those things... but, when the gore is a focus point in the game (in extreme detail), then that's something entirely different. Its a diseased and toxic mind that sees this stuff and creates it - no different to people fascinated with gore in general - it still stimulates that part of one's psyche... so I can understand why most think games are 'too violent'. On the other h...
Genetic Tampering, Bloodlines, Secret Societies (Templars, Knights of Malta, Knights Hospitaller), 'Holy' Lands, Assassination etc. Yup... even the 'A' on the cover of the game is a masonic Compass (without the square).
Those that aren't fancied in alternative history and aren't symbol literate will never see this.
Metal Gear Solid is another occultic game. If you know your stuff, you see it many movies, games, and even music... in large gathering rituals like the Ol...
it should be taken outside, around to the shed and shot to death.
...but we don't want your Gears of War. Keep it.
Exactly. People saying "it's the reviewers opinion" doesn't help out at all with the argument. The 'reviewer' is supposed to leave his personal opinion out of the review... unless it was his own personal blog or something. The gamers want solid reviews, not opinions... a reviewer is supposed to leave his opinion out of the review.
F2 better than KZ2, and just as good as MGS4? What planet are these guys from? Edge REALLY needs to develop a better system to review games a...
omg, i'm so embarrassed for you Why dis.
Calling them 'cry babies' and talking about jealousy is no way to talk about business, and anyone of sound mind knows your argument is rendered invalid with no merit whatsoever. This isn't high-school.
The BUSINESS WORLD is all about having competitors. You NEED competitors in a business world. You also can't have any ethics, which Microsoft clearly doesn't have. Business is the exact opposite of having ethics, since you're always looking for a way to screw anyone over just for a...
The author just had to mention it was an 'expensive' system. It's not an expensive system, X-Box is just a cheap system. Microsoft saves money because they build it very cheaply which is why it breaks all the time - they're just looking to save an extra buck (which has clearly backfired on them). Which they're glad to do instead of giving their costumers a better product. Sony clearly isn't afraid to lose a few more dollars to give the costumers a very well made product.
X-Box is...
lol i know... especially during a semi-recession - where people are out robbing places and people even more.
that's just funny.
The guy who manages the Gamestop where I live is cool. No creepy people there. Usually just teenagers and people in their 20's work there.
it takes more than a video game for someone to build up the nerve to murder someone. the murderer already head problems (most likely mentally) if he were to kill someone over a video game.
