yeah just like how a last gen system "PS2" outsold the 360 on a monthly basis until it finally recieved a price cut and the biggest game it will ever recieve..!!
This aint gonna happen 2009..?? but then again the first XBOX came out in 2001 and was dead by 2005....so it's totally possible...im pretty sure the XBOX 720...would be still be outsold by PS3...on a monthly basis...lol...
UMM when did the PS3 recieve a price cut dude...all Sony did was lower price of the previous most expensive model and introduced another for the same price..and the fact that ur so called price cut still increase sales showed that ppl still want a PS3...besides when did we start basing only NA sales on how well a console is doing..??
hmmm this is what ur hoping will happen unfortunately I only see the Ps3 sales increasing..when Ps3 sales were sub 100k..devs didnt bail ship ...and when a last gen system was outselling the 360 for almost a year did devs drop support..exactly..besides every other week or so we hear reports of a new game beign developed 4 the PS3..!!
And im pretty sure XBL was as great as it is 2day in it's first year...huh..!! PSN is making progress and if you fail to realize that then then your just trying to find reasons to hate on the PS3..!!
I definetly think that sales of the PS3 will double...especially during the holiday and if ne one think otherwise your living in deep denial..and ne 1 expecting the PS3 to all of A sudden pass the 360 in total sales is a complete idiot but it will eventually happen and the 40GB is only gonna speed up the process....!!!
Yeah it will definetly sell more on the 360 because the PS3 install base will never grow right..??...Im pretty sure GTA4 will move more PS3'S off store shelves than it will for the 360...and im sure Rockstar will put some PS3 exclusive content in also...PLAY B3YOND..!!!
Since your gonna make such a bold statement then I can say the PS3 is 98% BC with PS2 games...hence 40GB..isn't out yet and 60GB..is still available....the PS3 has already surpassed the 360 in the graphics department in less than a year...and having alot of games doesnt mean a thing...i'd rather Quality over Quantity any day...

360 owners need 2 stop living in denial..DVD9..wont cut it these days..more space doesn't equal 2 a longer game..did games get longer when ps2 started usind DVD..nope...but M$...keeps saying HD era...so and all those Hi-Res textures do take up alot of space..besies the only reason why M$ didnt include a built in HD-DVD..was because it was up the cost of the 360...and of course ppl.would have stayed clear of it..
and im sure Sony never said they wont ever consider implementing BC in the future...besides there alot of good games coming out for the PS3, why would you want 2 play last gen games..??..if you didn't buy a ps2 when it was at it's peak why care for it now when it's slowly fading out..??
How many different ways can you guys find 2 b!tch about the same thing...it's not like they dont give you an option 2 have a PS3 with BC..60GB...80GB..??....$100 extra wont kill yah...besides..you can sell ur PS2...and make and make sum cash towards it...
As much as I like my PS3 and wish 2 see it reclaim it's thrown I cant see Sony moving that much consoles in a 5 month period..i'll the most will be 10 mill..but we can always hope...lol..but after this holiday season I guess we will see how well all three system perform then we start making our Patcher predictions...!!!
I think Sony made the right decision to include Blu-Ray in the ps3...DVD9 will just not do this generation..I remember a game called GTA San Andreas which came out in 2004...pushed DVD..limits really hard imagine GTA4...yeah yeah it's on the 360 also..but im pretty sure that played a major part in the game getting delayed..
