I know of 3 people that have got one, all of them upgrading from the og X1 and that's probably going to be the main problem in that they keep touting multi plat library and BC but that's only relevant to upgraders - anyone jumping ship is being asked to start from scratch.

PC gaming relies on pure brute force of power because of the OS requiring more resources etc. A console has closed architecture so is therefore capable of doing more with less.

It hasn't caught up in terms of raw power, it's using mid range hardware but is able to do more with it given its closed architecture. It's a nice step obviously but in terms of raw power it's not that impressive not really.

You do yourself a disservice, I put all my big games on ssd on pc for the speed increase alone. Try playing total war games on a normal hard drive the load times are crippling

It's not true, I live in the U.K. which historically does well for Xbox but I can go out and pre order one right now guaranteed for launch. My local Game shop received 12 X1X consoles and 2 have been pre ordered but I do live in a quite depraved area so read into that what you will.
