Agreed, ironically the truth is the complete opposite. I have had way more fun in previous years on PvZGW than any CoD since 4 - I'd say it promotes teamwork much better than cod and is generally a great game to play, community is very mature.
Dont see how its Cod for kids when it promotes team play and has way more strategy than most cod matches I've played, a really refreshing and fun to play game
Read most this thread and not much love for FFIX so now I feel like an outcast because that's my fave :o
Is there more content to this version? Was always put off the PC version by the naysayers claiming it lacked in content but would love to try this with friends.
One of the best parts about this game is I love playing support because of the impact they can have, nobody really liked playing support on league because it felt like the least interesting role.
Plus this is way more accessible, hasn't stopped impressing me.
I never said it was, I was replying to Foxtrot who listed multiple Asian studios.
Think Toukidon is the only game in the last year I have enjoyed from that area
Smaller kill streaks
Less attachements
No pro perks
Better map design
Balanced weapons
No gimmick crap
Ah I'm going for the platinum to go with he other souls games I've done so currently grinding my way through (slowly I might add) the chalice dungeons, I'm on defiled one now and it's painful very painful.
Did Cleric and Gacoigne first time so was feeling pretty confident until blood crazed beast put me back in my place, frigging aoe poison
I wasn't aware this hunter was even a problem, me and quite a few of my friends beat him first go :/
Cod 4 (or AW if you prefer) struck the perfect balance between simplicity and giving the player options, the perks was basic and the weapons just enough to offer variety and in the end it was pretty well balanced. After that they all wet overboard with customisation with pro perks and tons of attachments.
And as a seperate note, for some reason the map design never got close to AW. I never used to like wetwork at the time but that map trounces most modern cod iterations maps....
Still having trouble believing this oxygen thief is still a thing when his demographic typically have short attention spans :/
Can't take this seriously when its from IGN who is happy with Microsoft whatever they do.
Battlefield Hardline? Not even noteworthy
Or high scores like 9 with ridiculous reasons to Evolve
For that reason alone I always played melee only on all the souls series as my main play through and dabbled in magic and faith afterwards
Nailed it
Tower of Latria in my opinion is one of the best level designs ever - the sounds, the enemies, the lore, the atmosphere it was all excellent.
I like the fact games seem to be going full cicle back to their more challenging days, I have played games on Hard for as long as I remember because breezing through a game seems to dampen the fun for me - explains why I'm a massive fan of the whole souls series.
The tutorial should be here's what the buttons do, here's the general ethos of the game now go and enjoy it.
