if you think that microsoft is not going to market the h*ll out of Gears, you should wake up. imagine what they did for halo, that got the one million copies in 8 hours. if they use half the marketing strategy they use with halo, and the former gear of war owners buy the sequel( most will), thats a garunteed 5 million at least

game looks better and better everime. i like how the city serves as a lobby, and you can go on quest with friends, instead of only having a fragfest. also the idea of being able to visit a friends apartment sounds cool, but also like someone was a little influenced by home?

most peole don't realize that halo's lighting was masterful. all of the hate surounding the game genreates from comparisons to uncharted and Crysis. that game is beautiful in itself. Honsestly, do you think Bungie was going for realism? they were being unique and the ingame visuals prove it.
