No response policy means they don't address rumors. the only people affect by the rumor mill right now are people running online and actively searching gaming sites for news\rumors. I think its funny that they've remained this silent, Makes me more confident in what they have brewing. if they came out to "defend" themselves they'd be admitting they even have a console
do any of you read Japanese? The article says "新しいタイトル" which means new title or titles. It doesn't mention exclusivity. iT does mention the ps3 and Vita which tells us that it will be current gen, but I'm curious
I know it's comfortable for you to paint them as a villain, probably because its popular right now, probably done deeper issue I don't know, but it's not profitable for them to do this. they stand very very little to gain. ms doesn't make money from point purchases, only from shipments. they make a cut felt every game made on the 720, but you buying a game second hand vs New hurts devs more than anyone, and they aren't the ones making a consoles.
because unlike their competitors Microsoft has a strict . policy to not adress , rumors, its beneath them. ms employees have seen these thingies and probably laugh, but it's policy. heck they can't even acknowledge that a new console is being created. if asked about future generation titles they give the old " we are only focused on the 360, as fans can get enough of it" speel
please explain to me like I'm five, why Microsoft would care how many people watch a movie. your realize they don't own the rights to movies being played and legally cannot charge, like the users games. Microsoft isn't really affected by the used games market, developers are. they would stand so little to gain its not worth mentioning in a board meeting
