Really well said. I used to game on PC in the 90s and early 2000s. But with DRM, multiple storefronts, PC ports not being optimized properly, the thousands of variations of hardware you can have... it just is more complicated and prone to more issues. I got fed up with games crashing, incompatible hardware, etc. That was my own personal experience, at least. I always wonder why it's based on the region of the account. I've had a US account since 2007 and obviously they never allowed us to change regions. I haven't lived in the US for 2 decades lol but I save money when spending euros or pounds. The conversion rate has always been to where I save at least a few bucks.

I miss the first three generations of PlayStation. The way they turned PS3 around, we knew they meant business. We were all worried for a bit there around launch. Eventually from 2008 they started shifting slowly. But since Yoshida was fired, it's never been the same. Still enjoy my PS5 daily. I understand that happens however that doesn't justify it. This is the same store for everyone but based on laws some games or content can't be sold but to price it differently is wild. Destiny 1 is the game I've played the most compared to any other game with over 1700 hours played.
