to each his own, but by the sound of ur tone, i'm willing to bet that u've never REALLY played God of War 1 & 2 by ur self (not just trying it out in a buddy's house) from star to finish.
i say this because no gamer i know can honestly deny just how epic the God of war series is after playing it completely. and for u to say its "overrated", or put it in the same breath as Devil May Cry or Heavenly Sword just adds to my doubt about u ever really playing it.

from a purely marketing perspective, then the answer is yes. MS would have handled them better.
but in terms of developing games like LBP, well, thats a different debate entirely. >:|
8 years to go and people have started having wet dreams about the PS4 already?
people need to seriously chill out and wait till year 5 of the PS3's life when games then will make Kill Zone 2 look like Haze now.
only then can we start to speculate about the PS4 cos by then we'll have a pretty good idea of what the 4th edition could be capable of.
right now, it's only just begun.
whats amazing is, this is probably the only product i can think of as a consumer, that constantly breaks down on u and is unreliable but is still re-purchased or replaced 2, 3, or even 4 times again and again and again by the same person.
u would think consumers are wise enough to know not to spend their hard earned cash on a products as flawed as this.
but i guess some companies just get a free pass for whatever mysterious reason.

that clip didnt do justice AT ALL! 10 secs of uber poor quality degrades the awesomeness of Kratos.
loved the number of baddies (in the 0.19 second mark) tho.
best thing is to wait a few more months maybe, till the flood of HQ clips start pouring in.
