Of course Sony will stay with Blu-Ray next gen. What other choice do they have going backwards to DVD and limiting their console? Blu-ray will be required for next gen as data of the games get larger. Just look at the 360 and some games having 3 or even more disks to fit the games on.
Not a bad list but they could have put a lot more rare games on the list than some they listed. One of the hardest games to get is a game Called Aquanaut's Holiday. Its the Chinese English version that is the hardest to find. Last time I looked there was just one for sale on ebay for $250.

Don't include Showdown as one of their rally games that was a pure arcade sidestep. With a official licence I am sure Codemasters would put more effort into the physics like they have done with their F1 Series.
WRC is ok but the tracks are un realistic way to many hairpins and not enough fast sections. You turn more than you go straight.
I would like to see Codemasters get the WRC licence. ( there is some talk they may just be doing that).
Not a bad review and its not a bad game but my biggest problem with the game is the track design way too many corners and not enough high speed areas. Way to may hairpins after hairpins

A update to the article is that I finally got hold of a real person at Atari and they have confirmed the game Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends will not be released until mid August. I informed them that they need to update the web site to show the correct date as its still saying release date the 3rd July and that they need to change the ordering system to let you know your only pre ordering the product which it currently does not.
I love how it starts saying that he thinks we all agree this gen consoles have dragged on. Me I don't agree as there is still life in our current gen consoles.
