Good review. I agree with everything you said. When I first started playing I thought it was ok, but the more I played the better the game became. I now think it is a very good buy. So glad I got it.
Nothing wrong with sixaxis to me. Apart from no rumble, Its light, comfy, easy to use with push sensitive buttons. Even better with the extra add ons for R2 and L2.(can get the add ons from pc world £1.99 or game £2.99) In the UK.
Got both and they are two great games. Both same but different, if you know what I mean. Also Red faction another great game.
To me most games are better played with a controller. Motion control may be good for some games(eg, boxing). Myself I like to chill sat down with a normal controller and play. Not into waving arms and legs about, I would feel silly.
Looking forward to this myself. Hope it ends up a very good game. Trailers so far are nice.
I love open world games and racing games so I thought I'd like this. The reviews aren't very good so I'll pick this up when the price goes down a little. It doesn't look too bad though.
I have got this and Infamous and they are both brilliant. The more I play Prototype the better it gets. Better than a lot of people make out. If you like open world 3rd person games (which play fast), then you should like Prototype. Red faction is another great game similar to Infamous and Prototype. They are all great games which I am glad I got. (All on ps3 and all run great, no problems at all).
I have both Infamous and Prototype(PS3). They are both very good games. Glad I got them. Also got Red faction which is great. All 3 of those games are good in different ways. Its been a great month for gamers but it does cost too much when games you want come out at the same time.

I own it, and yes in my opinion it is well worth the purchase. I know not everyone likes the same type of games so read a few reviews and if still unsure then rent to try.
I have the top 3 games, and they are all great in their own way.
All 3 are must buy IMO.
I like to remove my brain a lot. So I think Prototype should be the game for me.

I have been watching Metallica vids. Music had good sound but picture wasn't great, only SD and not widescreen.
This is a very good pinball sim. If you like pinball then you should like this. I got it day 1 and think its great.
Infamous and red faction are great games. Cannot wait to try Prototype tomorrow. Hopefully will be as good.
I have Infamous and Red faction and am getting Prototype tomorrow. I am taking no notice of these reviews as I like these type of games so should like Prototype. If not I will trade it in. Must say Infamous and Red faction are great games.
