Well um MS is smart to continue the Halo series and is smart to continue it in another way bringing a huge seller to different types of gameplay and not the same FPS everytime.. what do you think SONY is doing with FF series, and the Socom series.. everyone still loves those and i rarely actually never hear any bad remarks on them and how many sequels they have...
Oh boy did MGS4 did get overboard, im not going to say much because i have not played it yet.. but ANY game i hear was amazing i have high expectations and when i play my expectations get shot down and it wasnt so great as i thought..
im kind of afraid to look at any screenies, movies and what not about a game anymore, im afraid it may look good, look movie previews but ends up a disappointment and not what i think it would be like

Reason i loved the consoles because they were different from the PC... different games, more relaibilty while playing and more, NO waiting for installs lol... what is the point of having consoles anymore??? they arent that reliable (RROD and 2.40 firmware updates) at least the PC you can upgrade anytime you want, as well as cheaper too.... IMO PC will take over eventually because it will all be the exact same
uh this just opened the door for him to play outside... lol what is he going to sit around and play PS3 all day? oh so if someone made a suit that looks like MGS or God of War then he is a work of art and should be rewarded the nobel prize...
So making a FF14,15 uh 16? wait i lost track of how many there are, another ratchet, metal gear, is not milking the series then... then why not see a Halo game for each Halo ring... still be half of FF series.. im saying is people complain AW another Halo they are just milking it, when yet it outsells most in fact almost all games out there right now (MGS4 is up there) why do they think they are milking it, they are doing exactly what SONY is doing... they have a successful franchise like MGS...
If they do end up remaking that game, WOW hell will break loose like DOOM... Xbox 360 is ahead because its been out longer, easier to develop and much more games but as i see it is this.. PS3 will launch off just as like the Xbox 360 did taking an awesome lead here in the near future... Xbox 720 comes out expierences the same problems as the PS3 did (HOPE NO RROD LOL)slowly selling more and more because the PS3 got a huge install base by then and so forth vice versa.. i agree a lot of people just look at the price of the console... I thought the samething with the Wii. I wanted it because it was a motion sensor but it had like no good games at all... so i just toughed it up got the 360... You get what you pay for...
you have points there... but MS is a threat to SONY and SONY is a threat to MS... now one thing id like to point out is all those games you stated above are all freaking great! BUT notice they are all sequels with 4+ games on them, except God of War which is getting its 3rd installment... Now would PS3 Fanboys stop complaining of "Too many" sequels on the 360 that make the only reason worth buying... Looks to me if anything the PS3 has the same games all the time not AS many new Ips...
For one they are coming out with a 60gb little late i know PLUS they have a 120 gb HDD beats ANY PS3 HDD out there.... IMO i think the HDD is better on the 360 because they can be changed out... have multiple ones if you like... soon enough Xbox 360 will have HDD bigger then 300+ gb i have heard... its MS they do computers which computers have HDD that are similar to the 360 which ussually come over to each other like the games do... Whatever the computer has basicly the 360 will have and vic...
totally agree... i see more bashing of 360 and more MGS4 is the best F**KING game ever! comments in almost every post... i mean sometimes there is that random MGS4 FTW!... it just goes to show PS3 is indeed the majority on this site

Depends on their Strategy... they may have even more games planned out thay will be system sellers like MGS4 so forcing people buy it at a higher price for the games... also dumb because MS dropping the 360 finally and the 360 still has a good cycle of games that are coming out... IMO 36 won this year but following years PS3 will make its way to the top just like the PS2 did.... OR the rumored PS4 is around the corner like many have said who knows...
Im not bagging on the game im just making the point that you quoted that Cutscenes are what makes the game and yada yada yaa... im stating that a game is to be played not to watch..(videogames dont bring sports into this lol) yea throw in the cutscenes, thats fine, i guess MGS needed them since its Snakes last mission... but cutscenes shouldnt make the game worth buying its the gameplay, make a movie out of it then... i use to think the same as you EXACTLY the same but ive come to realize its...

Halo...its a great game i love it so what if a Halo 4 is coming there are a lot of other Games with 4 in it... I think a lot of people say they hate it and really dont (Some do hate it) and since its affliated with MS they already say it blows but if SONY owned it, EVERYONE would love it cherish it and want a new game for every halo ring to get destroyed 1 by 1....
uh i dont think so COD4 doesnt show the numbers... When logged into Halo 3 jus other day i saw was 330,000+ people logged into Halo 3 online now COD4 i seen about 200,000+ which is Halo 3 average... all in all its about same get down to it more, its more Halo 3 if you look at the numbers while you are online playing, im just saying what I saw...
Yes we know the PS3 is a superior system and Devs need time to learn how to code with it and port for it better and with new RAM and GPUs coming out like water from a spicket every few months of course there would be more to choose from when SONY made the PS3 which came out a Year and Half ago....I think Xbox is doing pretty good against a system that everyone claims to be the Ultimate gaming system ever made... when the Xbox has Hardware in it that is over a year old thats pretty old for har...
I agree FFVII was awesome but if say MS wanted to Remake Halo 1 with multiplayer updated and MGS4 graphics lol (Yes exagerated CHIll MGS fans just making a point) then it would just be for money and not loyalty because its Halo and MS of course...
well think about it there is fighting going on with the RAM between the PS3 and the Xbox 360... the graphics they produce.. MS uses ATI in 360 not sure what SONY used in PS3.. its all the same now they are fighting over something INSIDE the systems just like computers... Oh this game has 30FPS but the 360 has 40FPS and vice versa... thats what i liked about consoles they were consistent now a days thats changing..
