to be far to Gearbox, they're not a company that won't include finished stuff in the game.
there DLC really does seem to be extra stuff that was never intended in to be put in the final game, even they may have like to have it.
they can't include absolutely every idea they have in a game. they would have to hire more people to get the work done, it would cost too much and to be honest some games get confused and lose their sense of direction if t...
mmm... mass effect as a good movie? not sure. cool world and characters, but how do you fit all of that into the length of the movie?
will probably be fun but will feel a bit shallow
agreed. still best rts out there because of all the updates. doesn't feel like an old game at all
never played ff14 but would like to see the golden saucer again.
ahh the memories. i wanna play that snowboarding bit rightnow
better not play like fight night
i wonder though how it's 15 hours for someone that knows it and 30 hours for someone that doesnt. if its on rails how can it be twice as long?
did you even read the article?
tomb raider has often had that kind of magical thing. like giant enemies and stuff in the previous games and old relics that turn out to have special powers.
criterion = amazing
why would the ending that shipped with the game not be the "real ending". here's an idea, the creators of a game define the ending not the people that play the game. if that was the case, and fans are loud enough, every ending in every game and movie would be changed.
imagine if that happened to other things that you like?
just because you don't like something doesn't make it your right to have it changed.

depends on what they choose to work on. they can build the system like climbing and combat and whatever whenever they like and then add all that to the setting once they've figured it out.
the coding and balancing of core gameplay takes longer than the setting so they will obviously build that first. it's not like a film/book/play where you work out the story first and then build the game around it.
will 2000 ever appear on screen though?
playboy <3
lol. wtf?
want!
agreed. i like square. they dont always do the best games but they do do interestng ones
it looks interesting but i'm not convinced yet. i didn't know it wasn't originally a true crime game though which makes me more interested in it.
games are still packed full of content. DLC creates a problem where it seems like you're not getting all of the game up front.
games are just as big as they ever were, but now you can get more stuff if you want.
not saying some devs/publishers abuse that idea but saying games don't have contnet now is not true.
