It’s more in line with the disastrous launch of the XB1. COD marketing rights isn’t what drove people away from Xbox.
Sony has less studios than MS…
Why are they buying them? If they don’t MS will.
Niche games don’t sell 20 million copies. Dark Souls 3 sold over 10 million copies as well. This isn’t 2009, From Soft games have been popular for awhile now and have global recognition.
Hogwarts Legacy is getting compared to Elden Ring for many obvious reasons.
-Both are single player focused games.
-Both games have sold extremely well.
-Both are open world RPG
-Both are clear GOTY contenders for their respective years, as...
I bought it over the holiday and was amazed at how good it looks and plays! I’m honestly surprised the graphics aren’t talked about more often.
^Dealing with reality is something you’re substantially lacking.
It’s quite amusing, really.
Look at this guy lecturing people on graphics for games that haven’t released while simultaneously putting down the graphics of games he’s never played. Your YouTube graphics analysis is laughable…
If you’re getting upset because you have to turn a video game off to take care of a child, go eat dinner, or help someone in need. You’re not ready for these responsibilities you’re complaining about. On top of that, you have to question wether to keep playing or help a child?? That’s very concerning that you have to question that. A video game is absolutely meaningless in the grand scheme of things and should come last to adult responsibilities.
Oh, it’s very clear who doesn’t understand things. Also, I never said PS4 and X1 weren’t part of the problem. I highly suggest you brush up on your reading skills.
Developers have literally said as much about the series s...

I think you’re misunderstanding me. I’m not downplaying Elden Ring sales. My point is it should come as no surprise Hogwarts Legacy is in the same league sales wise. HP is a multibillion dollar franchise and the game was going to sell well based on that and the previews we were given. Everything was looking positive. It being a great Game definitely put it over the top. Same with Elden Ring, it was a fantastic game and it sold phenomenally well.
Elden Ring is a little ant in comparison. Harry Potter is a massive franchise and fans have wanted a game like this for about 20 years now. It’s also worth mentioning Elden Ring released on both last gen and current gen hardware. Imagine what the numbers for Hogwarts Legacy would be if it released on last gen hardware as well.
^Harry Potter is a massive franchise, From Software games pale in comparison. Elden Ring isn’t even close to the best selling game of all time. Hogwarts Legacy outselling it was guaranteed.
Prime example of the pot calling the kettle black, brought to you by Orchard.
I don’t know, maybe the problem is we are reading the article and it goes to show how ridiculously misleading the title is. Xbox trying to flex with 3rd party titles available everywhere is going to get called out.
What’s hilarious is there was GWG (games with gold) before GP and PS+ was not the only subscription around. Get your facts straight.
There’s a big difference in a remake and a rerelease and the vast majority of people on this site agreed $70 was too much. Find a better example.
And don’t forget he needs to know the figures before you mention any kind of sales % increase! Even if it’s 200% it’s probably meaningless somehow…
@imalwayswrong
Funny how you pick out one very specific article. Pull up the article that reported it to be the most awarded game ever. (At the time)
It definitely does mean something. You’re seriously going to expect Bethesda to release a game that’s on par with the quality of PlayStations best developers? Not happening. Elden Ring released with plenty of issues and looked awful on last gen hardware.
Lmao “ 2 TLOU is enough”
Also you “give us a game that’s already had 5 releases”
Way to contradict yourself.
