I'm a fan of the game but the story in Heavy Rain is just convulted. Only game that gripped me with stories were old school JRPG's and Metal Gear Series. Even those are b-level movies in comparison to films.
Only time a story was intresting in an fps was Half Life 2 and the Episodes.
People thumb this guy down but its the friken truth. The console hardware is so outdated nowadays. Gears 3 still doesn't look as good as early Unreal 3 demos and its simply because its the hardware limitation on Polygon counts and Texture sizes. Regardless of the game engine, it isn't going to look any better with the outdated hardware.

Find a link. It doesn't exist. Crytek has not made a single statement about Dx11 after the news broke out that Crysis 2 would be DX9. Nvidia has also taken Crysis 2 off its list of Dx11 games.
DX11 is NOT coming to Crysis 2. It was a mistranslation from a german site.
