It's for things like posting playthroughs on youtube and streaming gameplay on justin.tv, but I believe every publisher is in full power to clam copyrights infringement. Just look how many of those playthroughs are on youtube or amount of stream on jtv, publishers don't seem to bothered most of the time. This whole this started as protection for movies, games are only kind off side effect.
I don't see a point in watching such playthroughs on youtube unless...
