I find it highly unlikely Sony would just drop The Getaway PS3 into the dust bin to be forgotten about.
One of the PS2's most highly rated titles will surely make its way onto PS3. It's just a matter of when.
Not sure about the development of 8 Days but the Getaway was one of my most memorable experiences on PS2.
This game is out a week already and the flow of these articles don't stop. It means one thing and one thing only. GT5 is bigger than the Forza series in every way. The media attention GT5 is getting should already spell that out.

I have yet to play Uncharted 2 and i own a PS3. Sad, yeah i know but im looking forward to it. I did play Uncharted 1 and it still today one of my most favourite next gen games on either 360 or PS3 alongside Gears Of War 1.

All i know is that IMO this series has become much more enjoyable than Call Of Duty. The online and destructable environments puts it on another playing field compared to other FPS.
And i played this on Xbox Live. Sensationally good.
The difference here is that while Sony has these TV services. they also have us gamers covered aswell. I dont think i need to spell out Sony's 2011 exclusives line-up. MS need to give gamers a reason to stick wit 360. It is after all a game console and right now its games department is looking barren.
Got a feeling this game is going to blow people away in terms of visuals and story.

Gran Turismo is a huge series. God forbid there's people who haven't heard about Gran Turismo will look to these big sites (IGN etc.) and base their purchases off what these reviewers have to say.

The critics will be eating more crow because the games's AI also improves as you level up. There's lots of talk about GT5's AI or lack thereof but it seems the AI, like the damage model is increased as you level up.
LOL, this is one of those rare ocassions when good reviewers are seperated by the bad ones. Now we can clearly see which game sites can be trusted to review games.

First, i have to LOL @ IGN and various other sites for bashing the damage mode in this game.
Secondly, this will silence a certain crowd of people who've been having a go aswell.

A Gran Turismo or Forza game with real life simulation damage would be a pretty unforgiving experience. Most people don't realise that in a real race all it takes is a slight nudge from another race car in the right place and your car is pretty much handicapped or un-driveable for the remainder of a race.
