Yeah it guess it could be a nice item for some people, I personally wouldn't buy a guide book but it would be cool to add them to collector editions of games and what not.
Never could understand paying for a guide when I can get all the information from the Internet for free..
These both have been up for preorder in Australia at eb games for months and are really expensive. The steel case edition is like 150 and the bigger one with the statue is like 330 or something like that

From what I saw , Bethesda and Microsoft's presentations destroyed every other companies so far , but ubisoft did announce a new South Park game which is great , EAs need for speed and battlefront looked good as well . Sonys was boring , dull and lacked substance but Sony fanboys can't Admit that they had a rough year and lost. So far it's Bethesda>Microsoft >EA>Ubisoft>Sony. Best of luck next year .
