A 30GB Vidoe Ipod here is 339.99 and you have to pay to put movies on it form iTunes. So when you look at a M$ product that is only 299.99 and they dont care how you put your music and videos on, like the PSP, just bigger HDD, an online music store and wifi. Which i think is a hell of a lot better than Ipod. Ipods are so hyped up and cost so much for very little they do. Thats why i waited.

Microsoft only having the Component cables for HD is the best, cause M$ had no plans to have a HD DVD drive for the 360, therefor no reason for an HDMI connection. Besides, it looks pretty kick @$$ even with the component cables. I dont know where they or you got that info. but at my store, "Best Buy", we are saving a spot for both PS3 kiosk and a Wii kiosk. We are expecting the Wii kiosk to come in on Oct.28th, while the PS3 kiosk is expected to arrive in on Nov.3rd. And we have only a few games that will be shown or played. I agree. Although 1080p is true HD and it is supposed to be the most amazing thing since sliced bread, its not all that great. I have a 32" LCD HDTV from Samsung and when I hooked up the Blu-Ray player to it, then a HD DVD player, the HD DVD stood out more, but Blu-Ray was still up there.
