What a crock of shiiiit. I love Bioshock, played through it twice and now i'm bored with it, dissapointed that it had NO challenge.
Halo 3 will last me YEARS. Halo 2 wasn't even that great and i played 7000+ games over 2 years. I don't care what anyone says, in this day and age MP makes or breaks games. You can't compare them because Halo is a Major league game and has all the elements. Bioshock is a Minor league game.
It is a great game, but not a 10/10.
We should hold the ratings to higher standards and only dole out 10's when it scores it in EVERY category (multi-player/replayability included), but it's the media that is doing the reviewing. They play a game for an hour and then it's on to the next review. This game is a 10/10 after an hour of play, but after 40-50 hr's? It's MAYBE a 7/10.
Perfect in this day and age requires multiplayer and replayability, Bioshock has neither. On top of that, this game was simplified and built for the masses, hard in bioshock = easy/normal in other games.
It also gets repetitive very quick. I'm halfway through my second playthrough and i'm ready to put it away... so IMO it's FAR from perfect.

You'll see more in 4:3 than you will in widescreen(16:9) until they release a patch.
Did you read the posts? That is exactly whats happening, they're using vert- rather than horz+ for rendering widescreen.
It's been confirmed that you cannot see the main characters sleeves in widescreen, but you can in 4:3. Which proves those screenshots are indeed accurate.
Look at the comparison pic in the link, widescreen is losing a lot of FOV!

It's a great SINGLE PLAYER game. But comparing it to Halo?? Come on now, there's not much to do after you beat Bioshock, you'll be bored to tears after the second run through. So you MIGHT get 30-40 hr's out of the game.
Halo on the other end, THOUSANDS of hours... with your friends none the less. Offline and Online.
Replayability is something these reviewers aren't taking in to account... and personally, it's HUGE.
