BrutallyHonest, if i could give you some advice, 2 gtx 590s (especially the hydro copper version) are a complete waste of money. This PC is dogshit. Might as well spend an extra 300-400 for something 4x as powerful or just get a console if you don't care about graphical power.

Bozebo, it wasn't due to inefficient programming, BC2 is just a very cpu intensive game because the CPU handles all the destruction physics.
Im running an intel i7 950@ 4.0ghz and have no problem running BC2 at an average of over 100fps @ 1080p, all setting maxed, 8xAA.
Even at stock speeds (3.2ghz) it ran fine, although the minimum frames were slightly lower.
What kind of cpu do you have?

nickjkl look at any screenshot with MLAA. If you weren't such a tool you would realize it is blurred. Maybe if you take your fanboy glasses off you will be able to see properly.
The reason it is blurry is because its a post processing effect, basically like looking through a filter that blends the jaggies together.

Or there are certain other shooters already out or releasing very soon that have actually advanced technology far beyond what you would find in MW3. And because of destruction there is no camping problem while also adding a more realistic experience and the major fun factor of blowing sh*t up.

It wasn't an official trailer but someone recorded this exact video from E3 and posted it. I have no idea where i saw it can't remember but I have seen this EXACT video before with a lot of additional footage not seen in this trailer or any other official trailer up to this point. And yes it was older than yesterday I watched it weeks ago.

Yes it makes sense that MOH owners will have early access to the beta, and there MAY BE an open one later, but nothing of that sort has been announced or confirmed.

If you want to go AMD again, I would definately wait for the 7000 series. Brand new 28nm architecture could end up having amazing performance increase over 6000 series.
I wouldn't worry about it being too expensive, the only thing going for AMD is being more affordable than Nvidia, with Nvidia having the better hardware/drivers.
You're right AKS, AMD drivers are performing very poorly with crysis 2 dx11 right now. All you can do is be patient and wait, hopefully they will improve with 11.7
With 5870's cfx and i7 950 @ 4.0ghz I was getting about 20fps average with dx11 all settings ultra and high res texture pack 1920x1080. in DX9 never dropped below 60 fps with vsync (can't remember what the max fps was)

Hopefully Crytek have learned their lesson from disregarding their core fanbase: The PC gamer. If they were smart, they would do like DICE and use PC as the lead platform for Crysis 3 and port to consoles.

It never was about being lazy. Game development is a business and most developers simply don't have the extra time and resources for the PS3, that's why there was so many sub-par ps3 multi-plats. To this day the ps3 version is usually still the weakest and that's not going to change any time soon.
