The gaming community was awesomer in the past when gamers supported/enjoyed games because of their quality not because of the console they was on.

Kinect has a default lag of 33ms, from the time it picks up your movement and is ready to process with it. Keep in mind the average human will not notice any lag under 80ms. Where the problem lies is that on top of the 33ms, it now has to use your position to calculate and then draw the next frame on the screen. If your going to operate under that logic then we could say the sky can be grey to a certain group of people, because people are diverse and some may be colourblind, because a small group of people may find Mario hardcore doesn't make it so, there is a general category for a hardcore game and Sports Champions doesn't fall in it.

Who said Move being tact on is a bad thing, infact it is a cool option but when you can play through the same game in a better way (don't even act like the move controller will be better for hardcore titles then the DS3) what is the point in buying Move for however many dollars.

I completely disagree, Kinect just had a couple of cool announcements at TGS and still has 2 months to announce new ones. Sure Move has more games in it's line-up but half of them are regular games that have the option to use Move tact on and the other half are your casuals. The only game built from the ground up for real gamers with Move in mind is Sorcery and I am not touching Move until that comes out.

When you think of Playstation what game comes to mind? Well actually many for many different people, for me it's MGS. When you think of Xbox what game comes to mind? Only 1 and it's the same for everyone. Halo defines Xbox, GT5 is just another game on the PS3.
Kinect isn't even out yet, give it a chance. Maybe the technology isn't there yet for it to work perfectly but when it is what is stopping a simple firmware update?
What is going to be different in each sequel, it's not like they have a roster to change or tracks. Forget that I'll stick to GT once every 5 years.

Also while Bluray had a good impact on gaming this gen, the number impact would easily have been XBL, online gaming really kicked off this gen, look at what PSN has become because of XBL.
