yep agreed I dont side with consoles as i am a gamer but i do have my preferences when it comes to gaming however things like this is just really stupid it makes us gamers look so stupid.

No i get how big it is but at the time it was an experience no one had experienced before - motion controlled games in the living room i bought a wii straight away, lots of families bought the wii for it and even at my old work place we had a wii olympics with the wii sports for charity
However with kinect none of this happened... EVERY person i know who bought the original kinect has either sold it or does not use it at all for gaming when i ask why the response is always it...
Hmmm I really do think MS are wasting their time by going after the Wii crowd with casual gaming motion controls I believe that time(motion gaming) has been and gone. MS really do need to innovate with games for kinect for it to interest me

journey, flower, rain, puppeteer, heck even psmove game tumble all were a better and unique gameplay experience compared to the generic games i have played so far on the wii u, each to their own i suppose.

regardless of how old it was/is if only a small amount of people are playing those games online what sense does it make to keep a server up and running for an old game that a minority of people play?

i have always owned all consoles but ms really is not attracting me to their console while it is bundled with kinect as well as being a weaker system

Agreed I'm loving my ps4, although my ps3 did get shown a lot of love in December due to gt6 but now I'm bk on ps4 and loving every min of it except for the lack of mp3 support

No people said using the cloud to 'boost' graphics and make there console more powerful by using the cloud will not work. as someone who studies networking and computer hardware myself i had a chat with my tutor, a 30 year plus networking and hardware professional also agrees and says microsoft is talking a load of crap.

best thing to do is look at a video of a game if u think you like it - buy/rent it and play it I never purchase a game based on a review - I didnt for every game i purchased on the nes, snes, gameboy, master system, genesis, N64, saturn, dreamcast, PS1, PS2, xbox, xbox360, PS3 and Ps4 and I have played some amazing unforgettable games on there some that even had bad reviews but were still great to play.
