Only thing I disagree with this is when you complain about it not feeling like a lightsaber then mention force unleashed. The enemies were far more spongie in that. People are looking at it with rose tinted glasses.

The prequels Nailed how you would probably fight with a near weightless weapon. The sequels make it look like the beams hard heavy as shit.
Not to mention the amount of openings during each strike they leave. It was embarrassingly bad.
They should just avoid the sequels all together.

9 was just as bad but in different ways. It just opened up a while can of worms with the way they chose to have the force work and bringing back dead characters.
Death no longer is a threat, for one. It was all fan service with next to no story.
The entire movie was find the keys to unlock the door to the final boss but with cheat codes on.
It was insanely boring. No one was in danger at all, the bad guys were all inept and useless, ...
As bad as TLJ was and butchered characters, it was atleast trying to be original. Shouldn’t have done that with the characters it was using, could have been fine as it’s own contained Star Wars film with some massive changes BUT
TROS broke lore, it broke more characters and it broke the previous movies.
Star Wars is a mess now, even more so than after TLJ
