Yea it is. BF has always resembled what ever war it was taking place in. From 1942 - 1. The dev team made an effort to make you feel like you were taking part in what ever theme they were using.

And before you say “flamethrowers on horse back”. That’s a physics breaking exploit not an intentional design choice to break immersion. There is a large difference between looking authentic and playing authentic. BF used to have one of those. Now it’s neither.

Then why has every other battlefield title other than the spinoffs atleast retained some authenticity to the period they’ve taken place in? And don’t use gameplay mechanics either. That’s comparing apples to oranges.

Battlefield has always made you feel like you were taking part in the war period it was set in.

And when was the last time we had an authentic WWII experience from a AAA developer? People have been having to go to indie games on pc to get th...

Why do you people keep focusing on the woman? There’s bigger issues people have with it.

But now we’re going to have to deal with ridiculous cosmetics. Say what you will about cosmetics not affecting gameplay but they can definitely ruin a players sense of immersion.

If they start adding pink gun camos to WWII games they won’t see a penny from me.

Cosmetics that don’t fit the game. They’ve turned WWII into a cosplayers closet.

It seems you have no idea what the problem is.

WWII is now a cosplayers closet. So glad post scriptum is incredible.

Literally nothing you said is a valid argument in any way or correct.

People have been asking for an authentic BF WWII for a long time.

You’re aware customization doesn’t automatically mean prosthetics, katanas and clown paint? Nor does it make a game fun. Plenty of games are now coming out using authenticity for their WWII setting and after hat BFV trailer their sales have gone way up.

I think you should examine your observational skills.

You tell them to bitch about micro transactions? Isn’t that what complaining about the cosmetic items is?

If it was “super cool” people wouldn’t be hating it so much.

Um. I’m left wing. That was a wall of nonsense.

When you have to make stuff to to try and prove a point. Nice one.

Thought the point was to seek this to as many people as possible not send them to other games

I hated he outlandish cosmetics in Halo Reach (armour effects), I hated them in COD WWII and I hate them in battlefield. It takes you COMPLETELY out of the experience.

They’re just using the “sexism” as a way to detract from why people are unhappy. When people get excited for a WWII game they expect a WWII game. Not a game that uses the weapons and tosses the rest out the window for the sake of “muh inclusion!”

Yes keep telling people not to buy it. That’ll help the game.

Explain how being able to do something has anything to do with how it looks. I’ll be waiting.

You going to use something other than a GAME MECHANIC to explain away AESTHETIC COMPLAINTS?

Stop saying people are mad the car doesn’t work when they’re upset the paint job sucks. Do you not know the difference? You seem a little dense.
