Jus got my copy in and ive been playing it for a couple of hours so far and i can honestly say, Believe the hype and disregard the hating, this game lives up to all my expectations. Its leaps and bounds an enhancement from its predecessor, from its improved shooting mechanics, to its improved graphics engine. Everything about this game is better and stands up there against the best shooters out in the market now. If u have a PS3 u owe it to urself to play this game. Online here i come.

Haha, come on now man, is it really neccessary, buy the game for watever console you have and leave it at that. And according 2 ign theyre pretty much identical graphically 9's all across the board, only thing different is dat there are mre bugs present in the ps3 version, which can be fix ala a patch.

But u know i guess its because im one of those gamers who didnt really enjoy Oblivion as much as others. What can i say, it jus didnt interest me as much as Rpgs, like FF, Fable, Mass Effect, and others did. Who knows i might like it wen i rent it and give it a test run, but as of ryt now im happy wid da other holiday offerings. Glad 2 see all the positive reviews its getting though, and if they're n e indication, it looks like this thing is gonna run away wid da GOTY award.
Resistence was a great game for a console launch, and Resistence 2 looked 2 expand on that experience, and im happy 2 see that it doesnt disappoint. Resistance 2, LBP, Fable 2, GeoW 2, and WOW WOTLK, my holiday break is gonna be pretty much full... i mean you know wen im not spending tym wid da family, lol. TY to all the devs for not settling for making an average game. FTW
Why da hell did my 360 have 2 red ring on me wen one of my most anticipated games of the year is finally out. God hates me. Ohh well i'll get it once i have the money 2 buy a new 360.
Haha i love how ignorant fanboys jump on n e negative about the other camp. I love my PS3 and i loved my 360, notice i said loved. Dont get me wrong, I love the 360, love the games, but i hate microsoft for making a system that im afraid is not gonna work the next tym i press the power button (something i dont have to worry about with my ps3). Okae n e ways Socom has always been an excellent franchise. Great gameplay, and Great online team based multiplayer.
Finally reviewers that understands the complex and unique experience that is Little Big Planet. This game, aside from being called a kids game by short sighted people, is a breath of fresh air from all the shooters and rpgs that are clogging the market (of course you can make it a shooter or rpg, but i digress). It gives players the free range to be as creative as they want. But whatever is said about it (i.e it a kids game, its just a 2-d platformer, or it can be done on the wii) at the end ...

Lol yea i like ur cute little attack. LBP is a non game because wat?? It doesnt fall under the category of mindless shooter, halfway decent hack and slash dungeon crawler rpg, or over-rated open world action game. LBP is so good it doesnt need a category, it reinvents the game(pun intended).
Obviously the brilliance and massive scope of the game is lost on someone as simpleminded as you. You say that it's a Kid's game because wat?? It has cutesy characters and it looks like (if not better than) a pixar movie, Never mind that it takes user creation to a level not seen b4 on a console, or the physics system is very complex and affects the gameplay, or maybe because the game gives the gamers the ability and free range to be as creative as they want to be. Geez that is simple minded...
I really liked the Rush Hour movies (minus the pretty sub-par Rush Hour 3). But i lost respect for Ratner after what he did to the X-men movie franchise. X-3 wasnt interesting at all, lots of mutant cameos, but no idea how to use them properly. Ratner would be the last person i'd pick 2 helm something as epic as GOW (God of War not Gears, Kratos would pwn Marcus Fenix n e day of the week). Peter Jackson, or n e of the directors listed would do a better job.
To say that because of this excitement its gonna flop like Too Human did is stretching it. Too Human (the game itself) was in development for 10 years, so everyone excited for it was expecting it to be worth the wait. LBP is a game with alot of appeal because it's something we havent seen in the gaming industry in a long tym. A completely different experience, wer people can be as creative as they want. I wasnt lucky enough to get in the beta, but seeing how much fun people are having with it...
Well the 360 has a lack of decent/even good platformers so dey wouldnt know a gud one if it came up to 'em and kicked dem in da nutts. Banjo Kazooe; joke. Well i wouldn't put it so hard, i mean Hideo just wants to move on and do other projects. Porting it over to the 360 would jus take away time from him pursuing other opportunities, at least IMO. But then agen i have read alot of xbox trolling going on about just wanting the game because that means one less exclusive on the PS3 so im glad 2 hear that they wont be getting dat satisfaction.
The game is out now exclusively on the PS3 if u want 2 play it so bad then go out and buy one, if not then stfu end of story. X-box owners who want this game sorry but as of ryt now, and according to Kojima-san himself not in the near future if ever, the game will not be coming to the 360.
Agreed on both counts, Ive played the game through 4 times already. And It would be great if Kojima does decide 2 revisit ZOE or Snatcher as his next project. But whatever it is going to be, im eagerly waiting in anticipation.
Be that as it may, it doesnt change the fact that Resistance is a great shooter that I believe holds its own against the competition. Dont get me wrong i enjoyed the 1st gears and odds are im gonna enjoy Gears 2 but that doesnt take away anything from resistance 2.
