This game looks like it was made for the PS2...

I'm not worried about SSM's ability to create outstanding visuals, just their ability to come up with new ideas.
PS4 (and for that matter PS3) consoles have been available in China since their release worldwide, just not through official channels.
I was under the impression this was customary practice for Sony's MLB franchise. I have MLB 09: The Show on my PS3 and it went offline the year MLB 10 came out.
I suspect the answer to it would likely be no, or at least not if your console is online connected, since this game, like all other souls gamess, includes features like invading another player's world. So the game isn't "static".
There's actually a race level in MotorStorm called "Buggy as hell" :D

I just hope Capcom makes the decision to release it in the west as well.

No offence but the Santa Monica studio really needs to move on from GoW. A new IP with some fresh ideas could revitalise it.
I do too, mate. Badly. But they were lucky to survive after MotorStorm: Apocalypse market failure, and we all know what shape Sony's in and what they eventually do to their underperforming game studios...
At least Sony owns the rights to the MotorStorm franchise.
I hate to say it, but I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sony shuts Evolution Studios down after this...
Yeah, the game looks sweet... I just hope the gameplay is as brilliant as the graphics. I love Evolution Studios but this game is a long way away from MotorStorm.

Here in Germany, a 'Saturn' store branch had a PS4 unit display for people to play around with, and the two accompanying controllers have had their left stick skin already completely torn off of them.
I like Sony a lot, but I wish they put more time and thought on design and build quality for their products.

This alone won't revert my interest away from this game, but I really dislike that new "bleached" look. Deeper blacks are a much more attractive visual feature imo.
