"Rumors are circulating", really? I only ever heard one rumor and that is coming from Kotaku...

Shit like this happens when the dev cycle is too short. You really think BioWare did the extended cut just because of the fan protest?

They knew themselves it didn't reach the quality of what they were aiming for. If they would have been really happy with it they wouldn't have changed or added anything, no matter how many people complained.

@nukeitall:
It is allowed, yes. But companies like Valve, which bind games to your account, aren't forced to offer you an option to be able to sell your digital games again.

Isn't Thief 4 using Unreal Engine 3? What the hell is he talking about?

I pretty much always turn my PC off. Only for short breaks - lets say I have to go to the store and buy something which takes maybe 30 mins - I use the sleep mode.

You know where these "estimates" come from? VGChartz. And it doesn't even include the PC version.

Maybe it didn't sold a million but I'm pretty sure more than 150.000 over all three platforms

I also doubt that Ubisoft told these esport girls what they should wear

You don't get 10 new weapons per pack. Armored Kill will not have any new infantry guns for example. And who knows if you get any in the last two packs.

FFS, the Battlefield Twitter is run by some customer support guys. They are paid to interact with the community and answer stuff and aren't in contact with DICE in any way.

Last time they even tweeted back to a DICE employee (they obviously didn't know that he was one) that he should wait for a bugfix...

They know nothing about the development or what is currently planned.

I can already see the scenario on consoles with the shown map:
2 guys camp the AC 130, 2 guys the jets (do the maps have 2 jets on consoles? sry, I'm on PC so no idea) and one guy the mobile artillery (they haven't shown yet). So almost half of the team isn't going for objectives which makes engagements rather small.

Maybe Sony just wants to surprise us with a live gameplay demo + date... (which would work even better after this statement) *believe*

If your game concept isn't interesting enough for enough people, hire famous people to get fans onboard. Great concept.

If they wouldn't have announced it primarily as an iOS game (which needs $500.000 -!-) I would have been more interested in it (I know an enhanced PC version is also planned now - but still)

Yeah, but both the G3 and SCAR were nerfed too much in a patch beforehand. So they just brought them back to acceptable levels because otherwise they would have been useless.

They listed the range of hardware the game works on, not the recommended settings. You don't need 16 GB RAM (especially since a 64-bit .exe will most likely not be included anyway) to play in max settings.

According to Valve it's only Germany:
"There is a known Steam login issue affecting some users in Germany. We are actively working on this issue and will post more information as soon as possible. "

Apple is all about closed platforms and control, Valve on the other thand tries to be more open (see PS3/PC Portal 2 cross-platform).
That's why I don't see anything major happen between these two companies

lol @ "Ghost Recon: Future Soldier ditches DRM"
It should read "Ghost Recon: Future Soldier ditches always-on DRM" since it still has a form of DRM included.

Crytek is using EA through the EA Partners brand. So they aren't forced to use Origin at all.

Though that doesn't automatically make a Steam release possible, they could follow Studio 38 with Kingdoms of Amalur and publish it themselves on Steam.

lol, new engine .... dream on. They couldn't build new tech and a whole new game within those two years. Especially since all those studios involved with COD have their workflow optimized for the current engine.

I did exactly this and saw:

"Welcome to the "Authorized" Project CARS Facebook Page."

I don't call that an official page as it isn't controlled by SMS
