I can play PC games with a Dualshock 3 controller.
Or a Xbox 360 controller.
Or a Mouse and Keyboard.
While sitting on the couch playing on a 60' Plasma @ 1920*1080 because my computer can hook up to a TV.
Shocking! Right?
(I also own a PS3 and an Xbox 360)
A good setting would be during the French Revolution in France. It was chaotic at that time, perfect setting for an assassin.
Is it just me or have people stopped playing the Crysis 2 demo? I got on today and all the servers except a few were empty...
the demo/beta is only in DX9...i think its just a console port to the pc because they were rushing to put out a demo for pc.
i'm not going to lie, this kinda made me mad and confused. There is no way Crysis 2 will be DX9 in the final build, that would just be outrageously dumb on crytek's part, yet some sources say there will be a DX11 patch after the final release of the game..WTF.
I think EA rushed them to put out a PC demo, so they just released a port...then again...

The PS3 doesn't have 7 cores; it has 7 SPE's (only with 6 of them are being used). The PS3 has a cell processor which can process 'raw' textures and display them, thus the reason the PS3 uses a bluray disc (to store the high amounts of uncompressed data). The xbox 360 has a different architecture, which takes the compressed textures on a DVD and 'upscales' them; that is the reason xbox 360 needs to have a better GPU.

microsoft could have done this and gotten rid of this problem
umm...how about that 50" 3d TV, and HDMI cable and a $800 custom build pc with a 3d supporting, cheap yet good ATI card (YES!, they have 3d now)and a blu ray reader.....for all about $2000
Now we are all happy (of course this doesn't come with a free copy Monsters vs Aliens in 3D)
the new ATI Catalyst drivers since February support stereotropic 3d in BluRay and games...so now even the ATI cards have 3D!
The article said that they were releasing 3 new DLC packs, one is close quarters, the other is Armored Kill, which focuses on vehicle game play and will have even bigger maps than what we've seen on BF3, and I'm assuming the third is unannounced so far. It will still release the huge battlefield maps that make the game what it is.
Can you really blame them for also branching out their market? So what is one of the map packs is close quarters, DICE is complementing that with m...
