As of now, Microsoft is clearly winning the race. Sony has immense third-party support and will eventually have some killer games available, but for the mean time PS3 owners are left with a particularly lackluster selection.
I love my Wii and find the controller both innovative and intuitive and would hardly consider it a 'novelty.' The system is going to bring in an entire new generation of games *which is what next-gen is all about!*

Sony can offer no proof that their console is more ligitimate than any other gaming console on the market today. They underestimated the popularity of the Wii and have resorted to childish name-calling and bashing tactics.

Christ, you're all retarded. Most game developers can't even create a game that compares with the Zelda franchise. The actual game should come before visuals and that's something too many people don't understand.
ARCHAIC, while I do agree that Zelda would look amazing with SotC-esque graphics, you have to remember that SotC is a very small game and this new Zelda is supposedly *huge*.

It's called shutting the blinds on your windows. Also, don't expect to be a master at the Wii on your first go. Just like with anything, it takes some time to get used to the mechanics of the thing.

I'm pre-ordering my Wii @ Gamestop. Perhaps I'll camp outside of Best Buy anyways on PS3 launch day and sell it on ebay.
Those 8,900,000 consumers sure are going to have a lovely time fighting over 400,000 Playstation 3 units at launch.
I know I can't afford a Playstation 3, but in this day and age of HDTVs and crazy flat-panels I guess it makes sense that so many people are willing to fork out the cash for it...
The sunlight that it would take to render the WiiMote useless would also be bad enough to cover the television screen in glare.
Why bother complaining about something not working if you can't see what's going on, anyways?

For the $600 it would cost you to buy just the PS3 console, you could spend the same amount of money on: Wii Console, 3 Extra Controllers (With Nunchaku!), 3 Games (Not including WiiSports!) and the Classic Controller!
