A word of advice if your preordering from Gamestop. Check your code there in store. Drove 45 mins to closest Gamestop to preorder mine and the code was destroyed when i pulled off the sticker. The adhesive on the pull tab was too strong, so i am missing the last 3 digits on my code.
I believe Smokingmonkey's "wanna get high?" was a remark to a statement about "bring a towel". That originally came from a South Park episode about a walking and talking towel (Towlie) who always asked the kids if they wanted to "get high". How does this prove that neither of the companies know what consumers want? Obviously they do or they wouldnt even be "thinking" about one. They wouldn't have been in business very long if neither hadn't looked at what sells well and what people like, tried to improve upon it, and made it themselves.
I do agree that playing with your wii by yourself.......isnt fun, but with a group of people it can be enjoyable. I think the same will go for a 360 motion controller. I will probably only use it for parties with drinking games.

Just checked out ship date for both on amazon.com and Fallout 3 is scheduled for Oct. 7 just as mentioned....but LBP isn't scheduled for ship till Oct. 31
I don't totally agree, games are now being designed for other sponsors to advertise in real time in game. This can create a huge amount of income for the publishers. As well as aftermarket products and merchandise.
I was thinking added backwards compatability as soon as i read this. A lot of people have been asking for it and it should be possible with software emolation just like with the 80gb.

I was having a problem updating my SSD with the 2.4 but found a way around it. When it asks the first time to update hit O to cancel and start the game anyway.
Then once in the game it can be updated. Only way I found to update with 2.4 yet.
