Cod did a beta with black ops. It was a closed beta. Mw3 is already gold, no need for one.
Cod does closed betas for bugs. Bf obviously does open betas for publicity for more sales.

and yet i'd rather play it then a game full of guys rolling around 1 hitting with their shotguns, making the game completely 1 dimensional.
You want the difference? Shotguns in mw2 1 hit, shotguns in gears 3 1 hit. Assault rifles in mw2 3-5 hit, assault rifles in gears 3 20 hit. and you can roll up really close in gears making it so much easier for shotgun whores.
I can use a sniper,assualt rifle, or smg in call of duty and still be effective. How many guys in gears at the top of the scoreboard at the end of the game didn't whore with a shotty?
All i'm saying is, don't rip on another...
Sorry Cliffy, I've already played Gears of War 3, and I can say it's just like the other two. Gears of war = shotguns. No thanks. I'd rather play cod any day, no matter how overdone it is, at least it isn't just based around 1 gun type. Disagree? Don't care, you're wrong.
