you hit the nail on the head...not everyone is a hardcore gamer as you guys is. thats why msoft 360 will never ever be appealing to casual gamers. gamers with family (kids) dont want to expose their children to games thats way to violent. blowing people heads off, blood spattering all over the place. this is the best I've ever read on here. having a 40gb b/c ps3 for casual gamer as myself would fit me just great, and a 120-160gb ps3 would go well for hardcore gamers. maybe sony learned from nintendo to have casual and hardcore gamers so all can be happy

was the best and still is the best console EVER!!!!! contra, r-type, MK,TMNT,CHRONO TRIGGER shooter game. Metroid,street fighter,donkey kong,gradius,g-darius,justice league of america etc.... I still have my SNES and play it every now and then. good ol days of pure fun.

classic games nintendo could bring out of the closet for everyone to enjoy. Im sure wiifit and wiisports is boring by now, some good games for hardcore and old school gamers should keep the wii afloat for now.

sony should have waited til blu-ray tech. was out and expose to public
and by end of 08 the price would been down to a point. sony could of rein surpreme and ps3 price could had been 399.00 from begining. and m.s. could been sweating their a$$es off by now.
Also word is the PS3 still and is quite expensive at this point of time at some parts of the globe. And an important note - still not enough game titles ( which are definitely coming-out soon but a tad too slow... ).
YOUR RIGHT on that statement ps3 still to expensive even here in the u.s. 479-500.00 for that price I could buy me a computer and rebuilt it myself..... and the new games imo are coming to damn slow
