i downloaded both versions and technically they look the same. The PS3 has a little more shade going on and is a bit darker, it goes better with the games feel. The ps3 controller is also better with button mashing games such as this one. I just played both versions and either one u get u wont miss out on the gameplay experience. Personally I prefer the PS3 version and will be picking that one up on the fifth.

I still dont know what system Ill get it for but I heard the PS3 version has a better framerate plus the controller is more fit for this game. Honestly I really dont give a damn I just want to play this game.
I just got a 360 last week and I do worry Ill get the RROD every time I turn it on.
I do take extremely good care of my systems and they get a lot of air, my 360 doesnt really heat that much, only the back of it gets hot and I have the second model made in august 07. It makes a good 2nd console just in case something goes wrong you will have a back up.

Ive played the PS3 demo but Ill download the 360 one later to compare them. Either way I doubt Ill buy this, the game isn't that great, personally I prefer the N64 ones over this, but we will see how the full game turns out.

for the 360, well they are just morons because they only named multiplatform, no ninja gaiden, alan wake, and halo wars.
its funny how people keep telling me there are supposed to be glitches and bugs but I have yet to experience them. Matter of fact I dont notice a damn difference between this and the 360 version. The only complaint I have is the damn loading times, they should have enabled it to save to HD.
If your considering getting this game just get it, dont worry bout the bullshit poeple tell you its still a fun game and I doubt u will notice much when ur playing it.

Have u ever considered that 20k is all thats been shipped for both systems. Therefore both couldn't have sold more than 20k, even if one had the bigger install base.

Its only been two years for the 360 and 1 for the ps3, Im sure in the near future there will be tons of games that surpass Crysis visuals, Ps3 is already close with Uncharted, some aspects of it already look better. Im sure both console will have a lot better graphics in late 08 and 09.
actually I agree with microsoft on this one. How would they know that u didnt mess up the system by opening it and tweaking certain parts. Put yourself in their position, forget about the failure rate for a sec, if someone broke ur product by trying to change it to their convenience would u fix it for them. Ya they have to do something about the overheating but letting everybody do it could also mean hackers use to their advantage.
too bad they didnt use the flooded basement scene (whatever it was underground), were all the pirates attacked you from all sides. That water looked awesome. The game has unified lighting and shadowing.

I agree achievements are kind of fun. When I played Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted I tried to unlock some, but didnt really bother to get it 100% completed.
Like gnothe1 said, it can make a game way more exciting for kids. Personally Its not a must for me but I look at it as a plus.
Graphically and technically they are the same game basically, you wont notice a difference. Either you choose the x box achievements route or the PS original controller (for the series) route.
oh so you watched a podcast huh. Well I actually played GT5 HD Demo and the game looks amazing even though it wasnt finished, reverse lights and small things were missing but at least I got a glimpse of what it looked like and how it plays, the final game will be amazing. Who gives a damn about what those idiots in the podcast say.
