This article is a load of sh!t. Of course most of us here in their 20s and 30s like 2D games because we grew up with them. Yes they were fun, but people want more, we are just nostalgic about them. Hand the same 2D game to your son or little bro and it probably wont hold their interest. 2D gaming nowadays is either hate it or love it. I prefer most games in 3d, i like my sports games and shooters in 3d. Ocarina of Time is my favorite game and that is 3d.

Some of the PS magazines are extremely though on scoring, I dont understand why when x box magazine hands out 10s like it aint sh!t.
Take multiplatform games as an example, they get the same score from most reviews until it get reviewed by a PS and 360 magazine, the PS score is always lower.
the game works fine and is the best 3rd person online shooter.
Now all I want is the first map pack and Im set. I dont think Ill need another shooting game for a long time. The game is as addictive as socom 2.

I would give a 9/10, once the next patch and first map pack come out it will definitely be a lot better. Great game, lots of fun.
I have Socom, COD4, and Halo 3
Personally I think Socom is the best out of all of them. COD4 is way too easy and I dont like the game modes as much as socoms.
Halo 3 doesnt stack up against either imo, but is still fun as hell.
What I love about Socom is the gameplay, game modes, the whole lobby system, the guns, the teamwork, and the realism.
The only thing bad about the game is some errors and server issues, that was on the first day.

I never cried over a video game or movie. The Metal Gear series is the most emotional game I played, its more emotional than any movie I can think of right now.
I didnt encounter huge problems, but last night was horrible, i couldnt even get in.
The game is good, it reminds me of the old socoms. By the time the next update comes around the game should be great. I hope we get another map pack in a month or two though. Socom 2 was so great because we had 22 maps to play, now we have 1/3 of that.
well of course it sucks, its just another Wii shovelware title.
Dont all demos on ps3 run in 480i anyways. Im pretty sure I read that somewhere, you cant judge a games graphics by the demo. Fifa 09 demo looks worse than the 08 game but the final game had better visuals.
the lowest I saw for this game is a 9. That one point gets taken by most sites for being a ps3 exclusive. Im no fanboy but Im seriously thinking that is what is happening. Most neutral or pro sony sites give it a 9.5 or 10. The ones who always attacked sony all gave it 9s.

Dont know, well the last good FF game was 10 (ffx) under square-soft. The X-2 came out under square-enix and FF hasnt been great since then. They still make good games but nothing great any more. Im not hyping Level 5 until I experience WKC or see good reactions from others, the only game i played made by level 5 was dark cloud.

Anyways, the individual scores dont match the final one, just wanted to point it out, and since it is much of an improvement over the first they might as well gave it a 9. Regardless this game is solid and a must have for anybody who owns a 360. I will definitely pick this up within a month.
