All these are in no order but are games I think of when this gen comes to mind.
Having played all the ps1 tomb raider games they have nothing in common with uncharted besides the fact that they had puzzles and the whole treasure hunting storyline. Naughty dog even mentioned in an interview they got inspiratin from Indiana Jones, yes the movies.
ive only played the gamecube one and its a fun game.

Ms didn't ask developers last gen. Epic actually approached them and showed them what gears of war would look like with 256mb and 512mb of ram. They basically asked MS to add more ram.

I do think the Wii U will be more successful than the cube but I don't see it selling past 50 million.
Soxfan, the ps3 will be 7 years old by the time 4 launches. New consoles normally come out 5-6 years in the past so now you're criticizing Sony for releasing one before MS because the 360 is a year older and outlasted it.
Wasn't Microsoft the one who dropped support for their previous system when the new one came out, you don't have to worry about that with Sony.

Sony didn't lose all its marketshare to MS. I'm sure Nintendo had something to do with it as well since last gen Ps2 was the casual console.
Overall the market grew which is good, gaming is more popular than ever. With all the new features the new consoles seem to implement it might grow more.
Sony might not sell 150 mill with the ps3 but I'm sure they will cross over the 100mill line in the next 3 years.
If you want something along the lines of a Wii u then sure. I hope they target 500$ for the premium model with decent specs that can hold up a few years.

Jaymart you are so damn misinformed just please stop typing. Twisted metal was released this gen and is still a good game. The other series were sold to Activision. Ratchet and clank had two great games this gen and decent spin offs. The one thing I agree with you on is they messed up socom, which used to be one of the greatest online experiences.

Do yourself a favor and pick up the uncharted games. Plus you can buy the God of war pack for 40$ for 5 games. Also from the rumors the Ps4 might be a little more developer friendly than the new x box.
Don't be too worried. This looks like the vita d pad and its actually more comfortable than the dual shock d pad yet has a similar feel.
The touchpad I believe will be used similarly to a laptop mousepad. Looks like the pad in the back of the vita.
Ive had two sixaxis controllers since the ps3 launched still running strong, they outlasted my 60gig console and I still use them. Never bothered to buy a ds3 since i had two controllers.Dont see where you got the whole idea of them lasting only 2 years from.
I'd say add far cry 3 to the list, amazing experience overall.
Having all systems i don't care if it is multiplatform but why delay it for the WiiU. This game was one of the reasons I picked up a Wii u. Well I'm pretty sure microsofts release policy has something to do with it. Either way I doubt ill be interested in this game around fall with everything else coming out.
