I agree with what you are saying here, but I think the MW3 campaign was really great. Not as great as the first Modern Warfare, but it was the best military FPS campaign I have played since, ahem, 2007.
They should call it Call of Duty VII - 2.

I think it mainly boiled down to Skyrim being the game that overwhelmed everywhere and none of the exclusives really had as much critical and amazing Internet push.
And Skyrim is just a much more popular game than any PS3 or Xbox exclusive, and widely held as better games than their exclusives. You are giving widely held underperforming titles like Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 too much of a pass.
I have to put game mode on for my 120HZ.

I couldn't believe Far Cry 2 was released like that. Enemies looked like tiny bugs, and it played like a subpar Just Cause.
