You win; I'm going to have to check out the book now.
"Fighters Uncaged and The Fight: Lights out have failed miserably"
It's a shame. You'd think fighting games would be a natural choice for motion controls. They were probably just poorly done, thrown together to make release dates.
OH come now. It's an adventure! :)
A crappy port for a likely crappy sequel to a crappy game.
"...and online split-screen"
Oooooooooh! Yes!
"kinetic is sold out everywhere"
No it isn't. They didn't even sellout at their launch event.
"kinect is just advanced hardware with state of the art software"
Hilarious, buddy. Hilarious.
Don't forget that the glasses-less 3D screens have terrible viewing angles. No one but those sitting directly in front of the television would be able to see the picture.
No glasses 3D is a failed concept as a TV. It makes sense as a small, personal screen, however.
No, it takes about 10 feet. I know you're happy to suck up whatever numbers MS throws you, but here's the facts:
-43 Degree Vertical POV
-Average height 67 inches
10 feet: [33.5 x Sin(68.5)]/Sin(21.5) = 85.05 inches (7.09 feet) + 3 feet or so to take advantage of 3D space
It does well, 3D gets pushed further.
It doesn't do so well, PSP2, or whatever, gets a crack at the market.
You win, you win. You lose, you win.
It's a win for them either way.

Microsoft didn't even sell out Kinetic at its own launch event. They only sold around 2/3 of what they had in stock.
Demand obviously isn't where they want their stockholders to believe it is.
You act like it's a revelation. MS has done this for two generations.
Not enough to make a genie show up and make them work without horrible lag and "BAM!" moments.
"So they list Kinect's video chat function, but they fail to mention PS Eye's 3-4 people chat?"
It's Yahoo. What do you expect?

"Microsoft couldn't even sell out Kinetic at its own launch event"
Exactly.
@Zir0
Yeah, look at you go.
No pictures? Not even a description of the darker persons?
Debunked nothing.
Kinect didn't sellout at their event?!
Excellent; that means there are probably still ponchos available!
"Why are you all so afraid of Kenect?"
Why be afraid of something that doesn't exist?
KINECT however, is a different story. It's apart of the movement that is further hurting gaming as a whole.
When the motion control fad dies, the game industry will topple over. I guarantee you that this casual crutch will lead to the next video game crash.
And who wants to see games become less complex? The systems are stronger than last...
"BAM! Here it is!"
Most of these games got what they deserved.
