The meta for the game is between 69-76, so if "middling" scores are insulting, then the majority of the reviewers have "insulted" the developer for making a sub-par/average game.

17 years of games and they only show games from the last 5-ish years?
The gameplay mechanics were subpar, the open world elements were pretty meh (but the playboys were enough for reviewers to forgive, apparently, lol) and the world just felt like fluff of moving from point A to B, and it wasn't that much content nor polished.
The only thing that makes people so passionate about this subpar game is the storyline. Go watch Godfather and skip Mafia 2.
