WAAA, bad men held a gun to my head and forced me to play on the beta of a free app.
Quick! Call a WAAAAmbulance!
"which as pointed out before, is a failure. :)"
No it is not. Millions visit and several return. It has made millions in revenue. You're only calling it a failure because it isn't on the Xbox.
Epic owns the IP. Microsoft is obviously going to make sure it stays exclusive, though, at least for a while.
They're always "ambitious"
But they never live up to how they're talked on about. They promise an ocean, we get a pond.
I just want Gears 3 to have a working online. Gears of War 2 couldn't have been a bigger slap to the face with its laggy to heck online. MP was the only part I played of Gears 1.
Bring it to some console. Just bring it working.
Oh please, stop playing the poor xbox-owning victim as usual. Spoilers didn't start with Heavy Rain and they didn't start with GeoW2. Bad mouthing a mediocre game didn't start with Too Human, either.
True, it COULD be wrong, but the Heavy Rain and FF13 spoil trolls (Or perhaps TROLL...It could be one creep with some way of getting information) that I saw were right.
Blasted spoiler trolls. I've seen them spoil Heavy Rain, GOW3, this, FF13, even Alan Wake.

Wow. So the textures really DO look that bad on the console versions. So much for the graphical ceiling.
Even Crysis 1 on its lowest settings looks better than this....
The flat textures....they buuuuurrrrrn!
They either epicly screwed up the console versions, or this is the PC version on the lowest settings on some weird small resolution. But surely this isn't the "Graphical ceiling" they mentioned.....right?! O_o
You'd think after all of these years they would churn out something longer than 5 hours, and not be too pressed for time to add basic stealth mechanics from previous games ( http://www.thelostgamer.com... ). Or perhaps include a favorite multiplayer mode from the previous titles.
Coincidentally, I went to the dentist this week, no cavities.
(holy heck, how many of us went to the dentist in the past week??)
I wonder what FOX and CNN try saying next? Video games increase risk of parking tickets?
When do we get to see something other than Ricochet and an uncontrollable Burnout demonstration?
Could we at least see them paint another sloppy elephant?
This is definitely a change for the better, but it would be nice to see them just go to regular moo-lah terms.
What's a day without watching some random people or obscure television stars playing Ricochet?
I'll bet they switched to silhouettes because the avatars kept trying to show the bottom of their shoes.
It's red-blue glasses 3d, not the new 3D techniques.
If it were, do you REALLY think they would reveal it for the first time at TechEd India 2010?
EDIT: And unless they're releasing a new SKU that supports 1.4 HDMI, it's impossible anyway.
This article is written from a GAMER's point of view. I don't want to read some text from fanatical writers and quotes from PR, I want to see the game for myself. I want to see some clear information, too, not rough estimates from CEO/Presidents.
"Yes" doesn't answer what resolutions, what fps each has, and what anti-aliasing each uses. THAT's what I want to know.
They gave DOA an entire 6? Seriously?
They seriously think it's on par with Mega Man 10 and Metro 2033?
Someone over at Edge must have been fapping to it and got generous.
But this is the sort of crap I expect from EDGE.
....er, a nonexistent one?
I guess if you want to play really old games and only really old games...
