What episode is that Lisa Simpson picture from? I desperately want to watch a funny Simpsons episode. I'm guessing it was from the 90s?
That's such a great picture!

Good to see Nintendo focusing on the one thing desperately needed in order to become relevant in the home console space -- KILLING CHILDREN.
Seriously, STRENGTHEN THIRD-PARTY RELATIONS AND STOP WITH THIS BULLSHIT, Nintendo.
FF13 could have been amazing. In league with FFX epicenes. But the execution of the story was really poor. Something grand turned into something mundane.
It was very strange what happened with that story, actually. Everything else was great.
I thought the game was amazing, and I beat it in almost one sitting, but people getting excited for something that has already been released -- it's an interesting dive into the human psyche and how easily we're excited by something repackaged lol.

Sales prove that to be inaccurate. It's an objective statement - Nintendo is irrelevant, as of now.
Can they become relevant again? I don't know, I can't predict the future lol. Maybe, most likely not. They've dug themselves into a hole, they're in a rather weak position; where they're trying to cater to casuals, except the casuals left many, many years ago for smartphone, and certainly don't give a rat's ass about Nintendo, nor do they have an...
Microsoft got LUCKY last gen, what with Sony losing their minds with pricing structure and manufacturing costs, etc..
Pendulum has, thankfully, begun to swing in the proper direction yet again.
Honestly though, the reality is that a healthy Sony is very much necessary to the gaming biz. Nintendo is irrelevant, and nobody... I mean NOBODY wants Microsoft dominating anything with their pocket book. In general people are just not very excited for Microsoft brand...
Will the "china connection" now become the new Microsoft talking point?
We may be losing, EVEN AFTER OUR PRICECUT... but at least we have China lol.
"Why should Nintendo spend money on third-party games when Nintendo fans love FIRST-party games."
I just want everyone to read that statement made above. Nintendo fans are LITERALLY living in a delusion.
: )
Here's an idea, Nintendo. Why don't you take some of the money in your corporate bank account, and invest in third-party developer relations. Strengthen third-party dev teams, give them more support, and get third-party games back on your console, similar to what Sony and MS are doing.
Oh, no, we can't do that. We have to sell amiibo toys instead.
Welcome to irrelevance in the console space.
Sony stating the obvious lol...
Right, it's part of their failed strategy, as a whole.
Dispute anything I've said.
: )
Brilliant marketing and pricing by Sony, and MASSIVE missteps made by Microsoft. It's pretty common stuff. That thing they call... competition.
I'm not sure as to whether or not the new sales for the xbox one, post price cut have actually been OFFICIALLY released. So it's speculation, as of.... NOW.
VGChartz is irrelevant garbage statistics, as admitted by the rather dimwitted owner of that site, on record, publicly. So that's not a credible s...
I remember around 2007; As the xbox360 was outselling the PS3, the hype and spotlight was almost entirely on the xbox360, as well as consumer interest, at the time, moving rapidly towards the xbox camp for the first time in history. Xbox fanboys began crowing about Microsoft FINALLY taking over the pc gaming space, as well as the console space, through the Games for Windows initiative. (I think that's what it was called, Games for Windows)
...How'd that work out?
Impossible to find in stores. And here we have articles about it not being available at all, due to lack of sales. Yet it's being sold so frequently, and selling so well, that it's impossible to find in stores. Man, the fanboys really want this thing to die. Just read the comment and know I'm joking. Vita has MASSIVE SUPPORT and MASSIVE sales -- why else would it be impossible to find in stores.
Vita is selling so well it's LITERALLY "impossible to find ...
Yeah, but... [insert power of the cloud here]
The power of the cloud is going down in history as yet another failed attempt at hyping slow-selling hardware.
Reminds me of last generation, where PS3 struggled, and all you ever heard about was the 'potential' of the PS3 and how great it was going to be. Sony domination starts in 2008, 2009, 2010... and then it actually happened.
Guessing this won't be the same.
Truly the Phantom Pain.
So you agree that Nintendo needs third-party devs back, or it ceases to exist as any 'real' competition in the home console field?
That's exactly what I said. I was quite serious. I just didn't see you address that in any way, so I take it you agree?
