I loved how the "dumb incels" ignored crappy games like Concord, Unknown 9 Awakening, Star Wars Outlaws, DA: Veilguard...all of these games either failed msierably or sold below expectations.

did a "Metaphor ReFantazio" fanbase exist prior to the game releasing? yes it's developed by the creator of persona but this is a new game, new IP. Dragon Age has a huge fanbase since 2010, it has multiple games, an anime series, an anime movie, many books, comic books etc. Are YOU implying the dragon age FRANCHISE and Metaphor both have the same established fanabse? 🤡
70k players? Baldur's Gate 3 had 800k. Metaphor a new IP without an existing fanbase, had a peak of 85k player. There is nothing impressive about that number.
I guess they're talking about the first dungeon grand cathedral ,it will take several in-game days to complete because you need to restore your MP, at that point in the game there isn't many items that restore MP and most people won't use the MC mage archtype to grind away for MP points. Seems like the reviewer docked 2 points just because the game isn't short? it reads like a 10/10 game except he wanted it to be 8-10 hours long similar to the original instead of the 16-18 hours of game content we got.
I have no problem with a female protagonist, at all, but it's disappointing that Ghost of Tsushima, a massively successful game critically and commercially doesn't get a direct sequel despite the story easily allowing it. Aloy (Horizon) gets multiple games, Ellie (Last of us) gets multiple games but Jin Sakai? "we felt the need to innovate" according to sucker punch... after just one game.

you feel really insecure calling her better at life than him. here is a fact: majority of NBA male fans don't know much about WNBA except for the angel reese and caitlin clark because they don't leave sportcenter. other players? nope, I can't even name 3 WNBA teams.
I don't like how some of the minigames are not optional but forced upon the player to progress the main quest. Mini-games should be completely optional.

they didn't allow reviews for the console versions at launch to prevent the "user" from knowing how awful it is compared to the PC version
