Yes, it takes place years after 6 (6 took place in 2012) (7 seems to take place in 2017 if the demo is anything to go by). There's a picture upstairs next the phone in the trailer that reveals quite a big link to the RE series. People are speculating that the voice on the phone sounds like Ada, or Carla. The other side of that argument is some people saying Ada's had the same voice actor, when really she hasn't.

I would think Neo is probably going to be teased at PlayStation Experience along with more news about Crash, gameplay and release for Resident Evil 2 Remake, Ni No Kuni 2 release date, and many more. Smh, why do people refuse to see the good that's being done with expanding the Xbox install base? That's a good point, the more users the more you get $60 a month from head for for Xbox live, and the more $ you get from them across the Windows Store, and Xbox Store. So even if you had say, 25m users and they all had Xbox Live, that's $1500000000 dollars. Plus whatever Xbox products they sold, to some of those 25M users. It's a really smart marketing plan.

I can understand where you're coming from, but I'll agree to disagree. I think one of the best things they could have done with the Scorpio is what they did, pushing it back to next year. The reason I say that is because this year is super congested as far as game releases go. You're right. it's not a reboot. I'm digging the Old Man Kratos vibe, of him actually have more humanity, something that was barely explored in the other games. The Dead Space style camera angle looks really dope, and honestly, I think this is the best looking one to date, not only in graphics, but camera angles, combat system, fluiditiy, and how seamless the QTE to action transitions are. Looks more like a character action game than a button masher...

They've said on the german facebook Resident Evil page that it was a conscious decision to make Resident Evil 7 in the ego perspective (through your own eyes), same thing in the developer Q&A video. I doubt they'd bring Claire back as she's in Revelations now, and I don't think they'd bring Revelations to the mainline.
